**OP5**HORDE** -help with Classes Overview/ Guide by Hu1k Daddy

Interesting information . I’ll have a play around with things now that you’ve mentioned all that.

I had noticed that the Recharge Bounty seemed a bit off. When I played it felt like it was only enemies I had marked and killed myself instead of other people killing them, but that makes sense what you said there.

Thanks for info regarding those cards

This is why I always listen to ur builds …its a massive change of play style to before but she’s great in her own right …I really do wish that the bleed was 10-15 m rather than 5 m but its just the adjustment of the play style …thanx for the tip now I can finally get her to lvl 20

ok, I just double checked it,and looks like I was wrong… @Hu1k_Daddy @AmicableWall421

I suspect before the marks simple wore off, before I was able to kill the down, that’s why it wasn’t doing much…

With execution rules i was able to check easier, and yes, the ultimate recharge time is the same, regardless if you kill a full health enemy or finish off a crawler.

Hey there,

Really appreciate the kind words. I’ll be playing tonight (I’m EST) if you want to get some games going. And I could help out in game if needed.

@Omen_LP so after doing some testing with the Demo. I feel for myself you get the most bang for your buck with what you recommend. I’m not sure what happend on the grenades but they give you nothing back for your ULT now. So my set now is Officers Perogative, Grenade Satchel, Custom GL, Custom Boom and Razor Hail. I plan on switching Grenade satchel with his new gold as I found that with his personal perk for ammo regin, while maxed at 10 you get 1 GL grenade and 1 Boom round about every 2 minutes. So if going this rout may want to level ammo regin first then ULT cool down.

@GhostofDelta2 haha. Man we played together goofness.

Cheers!

So my Demo class is going to be Razor hail, Officers Perog, CustomGL, Custom boomshot and spotter. I just couldn’t get on with frags. Now there’s an issue with that build in that I play mostly with randoms and I freaking beg for them to mark up targets, especially frenzy as I can make them all go away. Nothing.

So I would switch to concussive strike if playing with randoms and spotter if I know one person will help me out.

He’s at least as powerful as pre op 5 JD but less fun to play and I’m not a boomshot fan. But I will work him to 20 next see if I change my opinion.

Amost everything nearly at 6 now for Demo including grenades.

I actually think that mathematically Stim Batteries is better than Enhanced Stim. If full stim is equivalent to 500hp, then each lvl 6 Reaper kill gives 250 stim (or 50%). With lvl 6 Enhanced Stim at 60% dmg resist, that gives (250/0.4) 625 effective stim per Reaper kill. With lvl 6 Stim Batteries at 230%, that gives (250+230%) 825 actual stim per Reaper kill. My Stim Batteries is only lvl 5 @ 200%, but that’s even still better giving (250+200%) 750 stim per Reaper kill.

Are you sure Reaper is not just basing the 50% off of the 100% number? So if you added 230% with Stim Batteries instead of two shotgun kills for full Stim you would need 7(? don’t remember the % for Reaper at Level 6) to get it full. But I have not used anything other than Reaper for Stim skills so it could be that you’re right.

I opened up the co operation card for the Tactician class. Its not very good. In gears of war 4 the called shot card had an additional highlight cue to show that it would take increased damage, but this is lacking here. I also believe that the called shot card added to the damage on top of the other modifiers so greatly increased the damage. in G5 it only seems to add to the base damage so +5 to +30% is pitiful. Max it to 200% would be more inkeeping with other cards and its gold status.

I tested out Mac (anchor) new gold card - the bullet headshot chain one. On lethal engagements without the card I was doing about 1140 headshot damage. With the card i did about 1140 damage to the first enemy and then about 1600 to the next enemy (lvl 5 card). So thats how it works- no additional damage to your first “cold” target.

Yea man,

Using a trishot with that card can get quite strong. Only downside with it, is that you have to get the kill for it to keep stacking. Can be difficult when on a full squad but when you can stack them together it’s pretty awesome.

Also really appreciate the feedback and updates from you. Wish more did this after testing stuff out so it’s pretty cool of you doing this.

Doesn’t Cooperation stack with multi-marking? So things like Eagle Eyes or Interogation?

I would say that this depends on the level; and with Horde also how you hold a choke point.

The key thing to remember is that each buff is added per kill, so if it’s a low-level card then you will need more kills before it reaches its max potential (200%). Obviously you’d want it to take fewer kills as possible to reach this.

When it comes to managing chokepoints, you want to be killing as many enemies as possible so you’d ideally be holding one of the main chokepoints.

In Escape, it works best when used on Hives where there are larger numbers of enemies. So for example The Warren it would be useful as there’s lots of Juvies. However it would be alot less useful on The Line which features a much smaller number of enemies.

Mine’s only level 3, so it gives 35% per kill - so it will take me 6 kills to reach the maximum potential.

I suppose a fairer way of looking at it, is how many kills it takes to exceed the damage done by your Brawler Card, which is probably the card that most players will replace, which caps at 130% at level 6, so for me it’s 4 kills. Otherwise I guess Brawler works well as although the damage potential of Blade Dancer is higher, the first few attacks will be much lower. At level 6 Blade Dancer will give you 50% extra damage per kill, so will take only 3 kills to exceed a maxed out Brawler card; and 4 kills to hit the maximum damage potential.

I think in Escape, the Brawler card isn’t that essential generally. If your Venom Blade is high enough, then the bleed will just do the work and kill most Drone sized enemies without Brawler. Hit and run attacks will work just fine. Sometimes I prefer to use the Short-range Deflection card instead of Brawler.

However there are some situations where Brawler is very useful as you want the enemies to die ASAP rather than wait within an extra second for the bleed to do its work. The Warren for example, has Juvies with melee-resistance and there’s lots of them, so you probably want them to die quick.

In Horde, your venom cards are redundant as there’s no venom, so you instantly have two slots freed up (Venom Resistance and Venom Blade) for other things. Plus in Horde on higher difficulties, you have the initial x2 enemy health mutator; and from waves 11 and 41 there’s an extra 2x and 0.5x added on, so in total you’re dealing with up to 4.5x extra enemy health compared to 2x in Escape so you will probably want that extra damage.

I’m curious, why does it seem like a lot of Lahni (Blademaster) players use Shock Shield? That card really isn’t needed due to the ultimate being almost invulnerable.

Because the game doesn’t tell me it provides any sort of survivability buff for the duration of the ultimate.

Wow I’ve been using Anchor on every daily with legendary card rewards to try level up Bullet Chain and hadn’t got a single one and now I know why. It’s actually a damn purple not a gold, guess it’s my own fault for assuming a gold card is in fact a gold card, thanks for the absolute waste of my time TC…

Its very useful actually because during ultimate scions may hit you back even now blademaster has melee damage resistance still shield is useful. Also provides protection if ice scion freezes you. Other protection is while ultimate is active you are open target for snipers and shock grenades which are lethal and very common above insane difficulty. Another one is shield can be used as Last bastion to survive, to fall back to base or to revive a comrade and while stimmed a sire cannot grab you

Makes sense. Great point.

Lahni can still tank through that stuff even on master with the right cards, from my experience
