The Dr isn’t wrong. It’s literally the same ■■■■. Luckily he didn’t have to sit through the boring ■■■ story and play the horribly made everything else. Honestly, G6, if it ever happens, should go to a different dev. One who knows what the ■■■■ fans like and can make the smart decision to make it more like G3. Then, let the series die. Gone are the days of Gears and what it stood for.

Also, if the lead MP guy, or whatever the hell he is, can’t take negativity, he should’ve never come here. The game is a pile of trash and people can and will be negative in their critiques. But what do I know. Anyone who doesn’t review this thing positively is just a troll.

Jag The Gemini It’s an exaggeration but my point is it’s the shotgun that makes gears of war and your in here saying make it less important. If you take away the importance of the shotgun it won’t be gears of war.

I just want to say as a north american. Its all too expensive here as well. U.S.A gets the best deals. But in Cad, the base game price is 80$. N everything in the store is op also.

Griffon in 4 was 18.99$ when he launched. It was atroshish. Glad I got hin for the bench lol

Well, Avrage salary in a random EU country such as Croatia = 753 $ a month. Thats 9.5 $ per working day. Its not even a whole skin as winter Marcus is 10 $… 8 hours of work. And this is a EU salary imagen any other country outside of EU… I mean its kind of ridiculus.

The seeds have been planted since Gears 3.

The wacky weapon skins.
The Rifle dominant gameplay.
The brighter colours.

You could argue that TC are just following the path that Epic started to take. Now the community is pulling TC in different ways. Some like it, some aren’t bothered, some dislike it.

There are so many differing views on a lot of things right now, I doubt even the community truly knows what it wants.

I like watching shows from DR DISRESPECT, however he’s not a good GOW Player, however I find him hilarous.

It’s funny that the OP posted this Doc video, because a) he said this before the game was actually out, so it’s not like he’s intelligently commenting on the specific qualities of Gears 5 itself, and b) Doc actually went on to try Gears 5 multiplayer after this, and actually had a good time with it, despite thinking the series’ trademark movement and stuff was janky (especially the wall sliding). He even did pretty well after some early frustration - I recall one legendary clip where he managed to win a 1v5 in Execution, and he was seriously hyped afterward.

No, I don’t, and I have expressed my own fair share of issues with the game. And if you’d read the thread where he asked for feedback or further communication, instead of being rude and behaving like a child, you can see him reacting to NEGATIVE feedback calmly and in an appropriate manner. Not being unreasonable or insultive and aggressive like you are.

For the mo? It was def the Gnasher gameplay which was unique and different from every other game out there. The destroyed beauty aesthetic was the overall tone that hasn’t been there since Gears 3, tbh.

So long as you can find a match then what do you care what steamchart or some loud mouth who probably knows nothing about Gears says? I was playing for several hours today mostly with full rooms. I never had to wait more than a minute n a half to find a match on any mode. That’s all the proof I need that the game isn’t dead. You’re like one of those kids that needs a youtuber stamp of approval juste to like something don’t you?

Imo all Gears games prior to Gears 4 had the “destroyed beauty” look even Gears 3, Judgment and Gears1UE only presented through different engines/global illumination tech

I admit the atmosphere changed since gears 4 but I can understand why, lore wise. All games before 4 were in a 15 years world war for survival. We werent concerned with making things pretty we were getting by with what we could find. In 4 were rebuilding everything so it looks newer.

What are “Amish people”? You’ll have to explain that one to me. And regardless, your post doesn’t come over as very friendly. And you’re telling the wrong person about “reading comprehension”. Pretty sure I wouldn’t have gotten my high school finals done more or less without problems if I didn’t understand squat about what I read while learning, or if I had to analyze texts/books.
