Yeah I know what you are saying.

I find it peculiar that while I can move well on Gears of War 1-4 and can evade cross fire and hit my shots on Gears 5 I can’t move well at all. Dev tuning is much better then release game though.

Maybe I am just being salty as I am trying to move and evade while getting blasted down by a snub, teabagged, excited, teabagged and then emotion, over and over again by the same players.
In one game the highest eliminations on my team was 14, the lowest on the opposition was 40 odd.

One of my friends who plays on PC can move faster and wrap shots before my xbox can tell me where he is and he says it is night and day difference between the two.

I don’t mind cross play either by contoller or Keyboard and mouse I would like it to be fair though :man_shrugging::v:

I did some experiments in private, comparing this tuning to the current live one.

I prefer the distance damage of this one. You can 2 shot down people from range, whereas in the live version it feels like you are wasting time trying to do damage from outside of the gib range…

Gib range: mixed feelings.in game play it really feels like the gib range is stupidly large and needs to be pulled back… BUT when i test it under controlled conditions (split screen private), it doesnt seem/feel bad… So i donno whats going on there…

Lancer, please get rid of the lancer chainsaw interrupt so we can chainsaw gnasher people head downing us, ok?

Movement, give me a break: yeah, slower movement, sure, thats the way to go… For sure… Thats what everyone has been asking for since launch, right?

Movement shouldnt be slowed down it already feels slow

Increase the damage of the pro lancer and also increase the gears points in the games of King of the Hill, since it is an exaggeration that kills only cost 1

Who cares about movement? It s a placebo, 2 shoots looking to the moon and magnetism does the rest. In g4 all people were kings of shooting, in g5 are gods that know what you are going to do before you think it :sweat_smile:

This new tuning actaully has lower magnetism than when having aim assist turned off in gears 5.

Theres less hipfire magnetism than Gears 4 and 5-- both coreand comp tunings… And the LT magnetism is virtually gone outside of chunk range (LT magnetism in gears 4 core was very strong, similar to the retail version in 5).

So, by slowing the slide speed a little, these bandaids are able to be removed… aka people have to actually hit shots now.

Any update will be useless till they fix the real problem here, NETCODE. how can i see if my shots land if i dont know what the ā– ā– ā– ā–  is happening in the match,

Yes. I m trying to say that wallbounce is only for bait shoots, if u push someone u r going to be down by 2 bad shots. Unless you are a 120 ping player, then u push eat and destroy

Dafaq? Take more skill? In this gears the movements became so easy more than anyone before. So sticky from too far. And it is useless at all against high ping botwalkers.

At this rate gears won’t be fun to play for awhile. Litterally making the game extremely lackluster interms of playstyle variety and skill is slowly but surely leaving. reducing the game play speed (cover slide, wallbouncing, boosts etcetc) because certain folks can’t hit shots. Low key figured that was what getting good was all about… Makes zero sense to me. The only good thing that’s come from the last few updates is weapon consistency. No wonder the comunity is dying.

I had brilliant games last night, some of the best games I have had in a age.

What I did was returned to the home screen press start and quit Gears 5. Loaded up Gears of War 4 and had loads of FUN playing.

Movement felt great
Gnasher felt good
The lancer was about right
The colour palette wasn’t offensive and players didn’t blended into the surroundings
Oman was clear and I could work out where I was getting hit from
Controller scheme was prefect, No knive B button chainsaw Y button execution

Seriously it was the most fun I’ve had on Gears in months.

Yeah, i am with you…

GoW4 does have some minor annoyances for me now (for example, i hate how bots race you for power weapons in coop koth, and i like not needing to kneel to fire heavy weapons), but those are superminor compared to the benefits which you described.

Hate the new gp system.

A lot of amazing players stuck at gold because they don’t stack.

Please Add COLOR Saturation adjustment Slider, Please. I really like GOW One Classic Color theme and to get that I have to go Nvidia Panel to reduce Colors just for Gears5 everytime i Play it. I believe There will be More of Us happy with This new Option.

Also Add this skin. Its cool

I really like the shooting with this gansher, it is more precise, something else, decrease the slide speed, it cannot be countered in many cases and please return the active charges as in the other gears of war, thanks :sunglasses:
