I don’t think it’s possible to “get new material” when the things we’re saying is the evident answer.

I have just demonstrated that the Lancer CAN down a player running at you, that means it’s damage isn’t too low.

If a player is bouncing at you then that means they’re evading your shots, so in turn surely that means you must be missing your shots?

If not then I can only assume that you feel like the weapon is weaker against wall bouncers, which would be insane.

Stating that you must be missing isn’ t an insult, I just don’t see how there’s any other reason? Maybe you can explain your thoughts?

Hi, The Coalition. I am really excited to be speaking to you. Gears of War is a mature and fun game. King of the Hill is intense nonstop Gears of War war. In the Ranked Preseason I noticed the eliminations have been reduced from 2 Gears Points to 1 Gears Points. It is my opinion this move is inconsistent with what I feel constitutes a good player in Gears of War. If someone is getting many kills then that player deserves to rank up and keep their good humor into the next match. 1 Gears Point for elimination decreases rank and the players who are good at the game are left hiding. The higher the rank the higher intrinsically should be the skill level of the individual player, not just their ability to capture and hold a position on King of the Hill. This, I feel, will add to better gameplay as in Gears of War 4 where the upper Onyx is full of intrinsically good players, which will reward the player for fighting against deserving opponents. 1 Gears Points may hide the fun of playing the game on a microscopic level, as opposed to the global capturing of the Ring. I’m noticing some inconsistencies in beta that didn’t seem to be there initially. Recently, I’ve been getting hit/downed by gnasher pellets when I’m clearly around corners; getting hit by shots where the enemy is aiming in a different direction; gibbed on cover before I can even see the opponent move. Also, damage indicator for the simple omen is often appearing red in the upper 2 quadrants upon respawn.

Last, can we do something about the roll? Does it still have to be a death sentence? The hitbox on a roll is enormous and it takes forever before you can shoot coming out of it. I mean the roll is a cool thing, but it’s pretty much useless other than occasionally working as a way to retreat behind a column or wall cover.

Playing on console cross play on and faster match making??

I played it a bit yesterday…

its a bit annoying to play because of the prevalence of PC players and stacks in the playlist, aside from that the same ole BS that plagued the rest of Gears 5 MP persists.

Its fairly fun and I do enjoy it but the reasons mentioned above kinda keep me away from it.

It’s a good step to keep a skillgap in the game. Slide speed isn’t slow once you get in the tuning (i’ve been playing only the beta since it came out and now I feel fast when i’m wallbouncing). Now you can make that the opponent miss his shots and you have to have a good accuracy to give breaks. My only problem with this update is the LT power, seems like gnasher do more damage in far distances because of that, it needs to be more balanced and the fact you can health while you are wallbouncing is unnecessary, this movement has to have a disadvantage. Finally, i don’t know if is just my feeling but it certains circunstances I feel gnasher a little inconsistent, idk why but maybe another players can be aggree with me and you can try to fix it. But please don’t keep ss in 650 uu, up a’s was nerfed thank to the ss nerf, it’s okay in 600. Sorry if my english is bad, i’m mexican and i didn’t use a translate.

The truth is, I have had the worst experience playing this beta, people only run towards me with gnasher for 1 shot, totally leaving aside the movement, which seems ridiculous to me

the biggest mistake of the game is still to remove the active reload of the lancer and gun have become very weak weapons, especially the lancer added to the developer list changes has become the weakest and most unusable weapons, it is as clear as grabbing any other similar weapons whether enforcer, hammerbust or retro lancer, to realize how weak it is , it’s not about forcing everyone to play only gnasher, it’s about each weapon being useful and according to your fairs and skills you can contribute to the team and feel comfortable

Going in the right direction keep it up!!! Add a full second to weapon swap speed as soon as possible. You should be punnished for having the wrong gun out. Its been a part of gears and wasting time changing it in the fist place completely astounds me. Get the brain storm sessions in line and true to the game.

This was my hour of game play tonight, so fu¢|<ing annoying.

I asked in game chat who was on a PC, only one person answered who was was on a xbox 1x everyone else stayed silent.
You can tell who is on a PC as they are bouncing up and down steps or wall cancelling on the spot and easily preforming one shots, while I’m sticking to walls, roadie rolling into the barrel of their Gnasher or kniving a cover.

It’s like TC wants everyone on PC. :thinking:

Everything is pretty sweet to me bar the movement speed, noticeably slower and not in a good way, imo

Wouldn’t mind the time between shotgun shots to be reduced a little and the time it takes to shoot after you’ve rolled to be somewhat faster. Pretty much a death sentence :rofl:

These kinds of shots still exists in the developer playlist. While someone is getting out of cover and shoots it instantly kills anyone while the gnasher is pointing somewhere else. Again, no aim required.


The zoom shown while aiming with the Gnasher should indicate more precisely the Gnasher damage and your distance. In the next image seems like I’m NEXT to the target, but I dont kill him because I’m not in the gib range… OR netcode related issue. Suggestion: decrease zoom while aiming with the gnasher.


Also we still get sponge and gnasher inconsistency. More important than gnasher tunning is these issues like constant lag and hitbox issues.
How is the pellet trajectory? Isnt my Gnasher aiming to the head? Ghost target?

I have friends on Xbox and PC, using controller mind you, that do just as you describe. There are ways to bounce quickly and efficiently while hitting a shot on a controller. That’s not a sign of a PC player.

Many players on PC, both controller and KB/M are experiencing the same issues you are. The cover is sticky as hell and as a controller PC player i can’t for the life of me escape.

Playing Gnasher Only KOTH with max sensitivity (30) and it feels like there is still a lot of magnetism. I hate the aiming in this game. It has never felt right since day 1. I’ve noticed the higher I turn my sensitivity up the more bs I can get away with. I dodge more point blanks and get a lot more gibs when I’m just spray and praying.
