Off topic banter

I remember things up until the day I hit my head on a brick as a kid.

Anything after that is hard to remember honestly.

That damn brick…

Not to mention a couple of concussions playing soccer…

I’d say my memory is fried man.

I take it the brick won?

I got one memory from when I was 3. I was playing a game with my mum(this is back in Ukraine) she would put a blind fold over my eyes and stand somewhere in a room while calling out my name. I would have to find her based on her voice. I wasn’t having any luck. Mum had a big badroom and there was a big bed in one corner. I was getting tired of not being able to find her and I thought that I was close to the bed…so I decided to just fall on the bed in protest. I missed the bed and landed with my face on the wooden frame of the bed. To be more precise with my bottom lip on the edge of the frame. I jumped up straight after as I knew something wrong happened. I felt with my tongue inside my mouth were the impact happened and my mum screamed!

My tongue came through the bottom of my lip because there was a hole on my face…I literally had another mouth to the south of my original mouth.

Holy ■■■■! I’ve never had quite that bad of luck. My worst was probably the brick lol.

Surprised I never had worse, as I was a little ■■■■ if a child.

Now you’ve got me thinking about the pros and cons of having two mouths though… hmmmmm

How are you today?

Very well. Happy its Friday. Gonna start college classes in January, so I’m finishing a shed that is on my parents’ property in which to live in. Right now I’m doing the wiring for the lights.
Yourself?

Currently doing college courses, and no longer doing the wiring for lights, as my hours got cut lol.

Was it your choice or your parents for you to live there?

Mine. They said they’d help me move out completely if I wanted to. And although I plan on doing mostly online classes, the campus is like 20 minutes away from their house if I decided I wanted to do in person classes this semester or subsequent ones. Also I’m pretty close with my family. So it made the most sense.
What’s your major?

I’m currently planning on majoring in Elementary Education, although that could change, but I’m still pretty hell bent on taking that route.

What’s your major?

I get the feeling you’re going to say engineering of some sort.

Now Omen will tell you off lol

Ah nice. Any subjects in particular that you’d plan to teach? I know you mentioned before you liked history.

Nah. Not near smart enough to be an engineer. In fact, back in my freshmen and sophomore years of high school I planned on majoring in political science, but came to find out that there really aren’t any job opportunities there. So I’m going into business instead.

Teaching history was something I was quite interested in, but there’s rumors that teaching history will be removed from schools in the future, so I opted not to go that route.

My guess is it has something to do with certain groups of people being “offended” by historical events that never actually affected them in the present day and age…

It’s a crying shame really. There’s so much that history can teach us, and many would rather act like it doesn’t exist.

But a business degree is a smart route to take. There are so many things you can do in your life with a simple business degree.
