So just as I remember… though with the messed up spawns I have had it where the first encounter was as normal but the Juvies didn’t spawn. Can’t rely on anything with this hive now.
You should probably just accept whatever solo you can get done, whether with full spawns or not. I don’t think a legit solo with all spawns has been done yet. I could imagine it being quite frustrating.
@HerrKatzchen and I got a spawn earlier when we were doing Forever runs that consisted of 1 Pouncer/1 Mulcher Scion in Act 1 and 1 Mulcher Scion/1 Buzzkill Scion in Act 2. It was the type of spawn that I would gladly take if I was attempting a solo.
Excuse me! This is off topic thread…,what’s all this

about Escape???
Oh I wasn’t gonna bother trying to take a full or even halfway full spawn but knowing my luck I’ll get one anyway, and lots of Juvies or Leeches(might get some use out of lethal barrier for once then, or just lure them to venom and hope they die first) to go with it. Though Leeches might be easier since if any spawn by going into the Boomshot supply room, they have a tendency to suicide against its door.
Says the one who also talked about it. You ain’t getting away with it so easily.
I have proof. Please file any concerns, comments and complaints to the competent authority.
So today, I did Mines and Hunters and god forbid Mines was actually more annoying to complete than Hunters because of all the Juvies, and stupid bugs where the EMBAR didn’t stun Scions that I shot with an active reload, practically needing a Warden to spawn in the act because the ebding spawn when the doors close is ridiculous beyond reason with all the Juvies, Sires and Poppers coming in which I would at least need my ult for, but also needed something to beat up the Scions and Drones as well as any Juvies that survived the Boomshots thrown at them in the last room, while I didn’t keep the EMBAR so I could headshot the Drones if necessary(I went down the left saferoom act, rather than the right one with all the Snipers and Hunters which also spawns large Juvie mobs and Scions that have Bastions shielding them).
All I can take away from these runs so far is that they exacerbate the balancing issues and BS of the enemies even more and how ■■■■ Blademaster is at taking melee hits while the passive does not work. I’m definitely using “Cole” Brawler for Warren once I get there and they haven’t fixed the melee res yet.
Nope, Damage dash and Trashball pro still work wonders. I usually drop Inner fire for TP since it’s not a must have anymore.
I was saying it in the way that I am going to use Brawler for Warren IF they have not fixed the melee res by then. Playing Mines made it all too painfully clear they didn’t do it yet.
Or I might anyway because Warren is a serious pain in the backside regardless but I prefer Blademaster over Brawler when it comes to playstyle.
Since I’m doing hives in chronological release order, Surge is up next. I sure hope I’m not gonna lose my sanity doing that.
Have fun Wall lol. It’s a rough one
I’ll have about as much fun running Surge as I will have with Forever which is either going to be a colossal pain or a bore with very few enemies in it.
On a different note, anyone here got any tips or ideas what I should do/where I should look so I don’t suck at drawing human figures on paper? If you want to know why your answer is some posts up.
So today, I did Surge, Wandered and Venom Run. Surge was a serious dose of masochism as expected and took me way too long to complete(mostly due to game BS of things that should have been stunned not being stunned or that Mulcher Scion surviving on 1% health just as my ult ran out when I still had to clear the two on the helipad and the ending), but Wanderer was a first try completion(almost screwed up by a sneaky Drone Elite right before the helipad but RNGesus threw me a favor and made it stop shooting when it would have only needed one more shot), and Venom Run didn’t take very long at all and was actually fairly easy and not very annoying once I didn’t have Grenadiers shoot me in the final room while Poppers were close by and my flashes actually worked. Though I preferred having Rejects as the first enemy in the hive because as it turned out that spawn pattern was the easiest to work with.
@SPARGELKOHL So if you were wondering why I wasn’t joining y’all for a Horde run, I was running Surge and doing the second act which I had no intentions to back out of after the ridiculous pain that the first act already was just trying to get past the left path without the game pulling some stupid BS and even then it was closer than I liked because there is so many freaking enemies I had to kill a bunch of Juvies and shoot things with the Talon just so the ult cooldown would be down enough that I could go in with it instead of getting yeeted to oblivion by all the Hunters and Drones instantly as soon as I entered the area.
BecausebI’m not sure I would have found the will and sanity to put up with doing the entire thing all over again because it was monotonous as hell doing the first act and the strategy if it could even be called one was to lure out Juvies from the middle to kill them for the ult and then shoot things with my Talon to have it be ready before the venom would kill me or force me to move ahead to an even more exposed location, then hope Shock Chain killed most or all of the enemies with the bleed that I wouldn’t have to bother with them after taking some frags for the four Drones in front of the saferoom and the EMBAR with ammo for the second act in the supply room as well as Flashbangs from the small explosive boxes.
Holy ■■■■, they still haven’t fixed their mic for the dev-stream. Dana is using the headset again…
Any idea what those giveaways might be? Not that I will watch it with 99% probability but still curious. Usually it’s just some merch or hardware though.
Warden Action figure Dana already opened on stream.
