Now this is what I call a proper “Ghost Roast”.
Other news is tomorrow(or today if you’re in the CET timezone or further east) I will probably start the pain train of masochism. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as when I probably got some early grey hairs, lost 30 years of my lifespan and probably reduced the lifetime of one of my controller by a few years playing Halo 2s campaign solo on Legendary.

I have to waste my time somehow when I’m not asked to play the daily Horde/hive by someone and don’t feel bothered to play with only randoms.
Forever is going to be one hell of a pain unless I get some spawn that makes no enemies appear. No idea how to go about Surge and Last Stand either.

I might try that if I can’t do it with my Blademaster in the venom. But call it stupid if you want, I was going to try to stick with the classes that were available at the point of release of the hives as much as possible. Which means Op 1 hives would basically only be for original Scorpio classes(I’m not really limiting myself to skills because for one, I may not have an accurate memory of that and on the other hand, it would render Blademaster effectively useless) and Protector but I would be a total madman to attempt a solo Master run with that for most of the hives. Only potential use might be on Hunters but I might as well just wait for the venom instead.
Why don’t I use Brawler? Not a particularly big fan of the class, I only might consider it for the Warren Juvies because Blademaster is still not very great at taking their hits right now.
I did that until I got 2 people who ran it with me, what a s***** RNG fest that hive was.
I might try again as a Gunner one day but holy smokes.
Apart from that, I’ve only beaten the Labyrinth solo, never completed that as a team. Makes sense as you need a bit of co-ordination on that hive, everyone needs to be on the same page. Plus randoms make that hive 10x more difficult than it needs to be.
It’s actually not so bad now, having Brawler, Gunner and some third other class works pretty well. The Brawler can tackle any of the Juvie s…s out of the way and also tackle into Grenadiers to stagger them and let other teammates get closer more easily, as well as stunning the Mulcher Scions if you happen to not have any Flashbangs. Gunner usually has its ult by the time you reach the final tile before the helipad and can use it to bypass the Mulcher Scion very easily, it may also get a few Grenadiers inside the big room. From there it’s mostly easy pickings for anything that tries to make it to the helipad and you usually still have some flashes left. Last time I did it when it was the daily, we beat it on our first try.
But it was just pure cancer in Op 1. I’m still not happy I went through that for the Finger Point to be given out to someone who just played anything a couple of hours, if any reward should have stayed locked away behind the Op 1 Master requirement it should have been that. Not because of time locked exclusivity or whatever, some of those hives were seriously hard back then and I could have spared myself a lot of pain and suffering and frag exploit use because I could often not find teams of three good enough to do Last Stand without having to use said exploit in act 2 or the stupid Juvies made it too annoying to drag the Salvo into act 2.
Especially the Juvies that got away, only to pick on poor ol’ Keegan.

I’ve done this one with Clayton.
Did Surge on my first try after Turner did his. Everything went flawless and I retired after from solo runs as there was no way I was ever gonna top that.
Sure, except doing it solo the class would be far too squishy against any Juvies you might come across.
Nah they didn’t bother me at all. It’s only the stupid stopping power mod that made things harder.
