Confirmed, I have ranked up normally none of the double star for tour objectives are being awarded for completion. please retro for this. Thanks
So you aren’t getting any progression, or just not double stars?
A lot of contradictory information here, so thought I’d just see for myself…
Hit LT to bring up the Medal tab & just shows an infinite loading symbol with an otherwise blank page, that’s a new one.
Would show a screenshot but last time I checked Gears5 captures don’t show up on the gamerdvr or xboxclips websites.
Everything’s working for me, though there’s a visual glitch where the blue double stars don’t appear in the challenge menu, they’re still applied after completing the challenge.
The extra blue stars were showing for everyone. We just weren’t getting double.
ive just tried and it working . my 1star objefctve gave 2 stars.
Same here. Working as of 7:30 am U.K. time, Sunday. Both double stars and progress OK (after a frustrating day yesterday).
This happens all the time… since the first time they did the extra stars. If you open the tour of duty menu, they don’t show, but if you close the menu then reopen it, they show. Makes no sense… unless you realize they have inexperienced ppl on the dev team, then it makes perfect sense.

Still not giving double stars today. I completed objectives yesterday, I should have gotten 14 stars only got 7. Today I should have gotten 12 only given me 6 I’m not going to keep wasting money to get iron to not get my rewards. Come on TC! Gears used to be one of my favourite games ever, with all the bugs in 5 I can honestly say it does not make me wanna play
I’m in the UK. Mines not working. Did you do anything? I’ve restarted. Maybe thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling?
Okay so I’ve logged in again today to see if I have been awarded the 16 stars owed to me from yesterday…I can quite easily see that this is not the case. I wish TC could be more specific about what they supposed to have fixed. Can we have some clarification please.
Can someone at TC confirm
- Are you able to award the stars players earned but did not receive through daily objectives (not medals) yesterday. Including ones purchased with Iron (as it is in my case)
- Can you please confirm if any lost Medal progress has now been fixed from yesterday
Can anyone else here confirm if the double stars are working today as I would again grind some more when I finish work if that is the case
Apparently the double stars are working now as well as progression, meaning the stars you earn from the fix onwards, the bonus stars that were not awarded due to the event not working are still lost, I think TC said they will POSSIBLY award them during the next week

Unfortunately this means they will never come back so don’t get your hopes up.

I just did them,and it finnally works for me. 100% and double checked . It seems that more people are getting them stars. Hopee it works for you guys too.

Was working for a few then went right back to not adding up. This game is becoming more frustrating than fun. Understand that it is new but, the silence on this issue is rather suspicious. Say something whether it is good or bad and not have players waste time and money, It would be highly appreciated.
