They won’t fix that one. It doesn’t make the game more fun, so it’s gonna stay in
They already did. They just haven’t implemented it yet.
They patch stuff like barrier bleed or grace’s grenade bleed in a matter of weeks, releasing an update outside the normal operations/TU timeline. But a gamebreaking bug that occurs in every game mode, that has been there since day-1? “Coming in future patch/update”
I imagine you have just stated why. Barrier bleed was one game mode, chainsaw multiple. Not that I think that’s a valid excuse for it to last that long but things like Clays card exploit will be much easier.
I’m being pedantic, but this problem wasn’t there from launch. It was a bug introduced somewhere around op 2-3 and it was extensively pointed out to TC when it happened but they chose to ignore it.
Let us hope it also applies to the retro charge which suffers from the same issue. I hope they are fixing it at an input level not just on a weapon by weapon basis because if it is the latter, their wording suggests the retro lancer will still be broken.
Who knows, when Baird’s barrier bleed was fixed it didn’t fix Grace’s barrier bleed.
Technically the ribbon exploit a la Death from Beyond hasn’t been patched. They just removed the ribbon. I imagine that’s more so because an actual overhaul of the XP system would be required to fix that bug (which they did actually try to do last year).
Yeah TC, I haven’t forgot about that XP shenanigans last year.
Not really… ppl just speak in their minds on how they feel towards him.
He really was way too out of touch to be the face of gears for as long as he was, not knowing basic answers during streams, acting like certain issues didn’t exist (when they clearly still do to this day), was hella rude at times during streams by talking over others in the stream with him… and that’s just the surface stuff. I’m sure there was A LOT of other things he negatively added to behind the scenes that most of the community didn’t fully know as well.
It’s fine for anyone to have liked him, but he rubbed many others the wrong way and based on his overall lack of understanding and gears knowledge, maybe it’s for the best.
Still… that doesn’t mean ppl are being negative… I didn’t read anything from anyone saying something like “f him” so idk how it can be perceived as negative when ppl are just speaking the truth.
Well, maybe.
I don’t really mind the responses that state what he did wrong. It’s more so the people (not just on the forums, but on multiple platforms) who say “good riddance” or “glad he’s gone”, which was the responses I was seeing at the time.
Plus, if I had a problem with him, I’d be more bothered about the people above him who have employed him, rather than Dana himself.
