Personally, I am very happy with this change. There were multiple times where he came off as condescending during the developer streams when he was grilled on some of the more contestable changes. He also didn’t appear to have a lot of knowledge on Gears of War. Whether that be the mechanics, lore, etc.

Based on the post I’m going to assume the exit was mutual and I hope he finds a position he is better suited for. That being said I hope that whoever takes his position is more in tune to the base community of players that tend to follow the game and play it throughout its lifespan.

Maybe with all this turnover its time to prove themselves again and they remaster Gears of War 3 with some extra maps and character skins. Shhhhh… Let me dream.

I have nothing against the guy personally but at the end of the day he sucked at his job and I’m happy to see him go. I wish him the best of luck at his next stop

Hopefully @TC_Sera gets promoted. She’s F’in awesome and I think would do an amazing at that position

I thought he was okay to be fair, sometimes funny I do agree with some other people about them not thinking he knows much about the game when asking for responses about community questions to people on the streams especially the New Op streams.

The main thing i did not like and noticed A LOT when watching streams regarding the new Operations is him always interrupting people when they are speaking. When TCMichaelAOS was on the streams talking about Op4 and Op5 talking about the new characters and abilities and things like that Dana would always talk over him and in general it is really rude to talk over someone when there talking and he did it a lot. I get they likely only have so much time and there are questions to be asked by the community but let them speak, don’t just straight up cut them off ya know. There are a few times and i bet other people might have as well wanted to know what those people were going to say but they would get interrupted and we would never find out.

They patch stuff like barrier bleed or grace’s grenade bleed in a matter of weeks, releasing an update outside the normal operations/TU timeline. But a gamebreaking bug that occurs in every game mode, that has been there since day-1? “Coming in future patch/update” :roll_eyes:

I imagine you have just stated why. Barrier bleed was one game mode, chainsaw multiple. Not that I think that’s a valid excuse for it to last that long but things like Clays card exploit will be much easier.

I’m being pedantic, but this problem wasn’t there from launch. It was a bug introduced somewhere around op 2-3 and it was extensively pointed out to TC when it happened but they chose to ignore it.

Let us hope it also applies to the retro charge which suffers from the same issue. I hope they are fixing it at an input level not just on a weapon by weapon basis because if it is the latter, their wording suggests the retro lancer will still be broken.
