No Halo Reach Characters?

I almost installed the standard version on accident. Maybe that happened to some of you.

I just switched to game pass ultimate last night (did the $2 for 2 month deal) and when I followed the Microsoft store link to download gears 5 from the game pass ultimate page it actually sent me to the standard edition instead of the ultimate version (UE).

I would suggest that everyone double check which version you installed.

For the game pass peeps. If you know you definitely installed the UE, and the Reach characters and boost aren’t there then I have no clue. But if you may have accidentally installed the standard version then I would look up the UE version specifically on the store.

Alternatively, if you look up the standard edition on the store (on Xbox) and scroll down, there is a place that says “included in” with the UE version icon (something like that). And then on my screen it says “owned” below the title even though I only have the game through game pass. I would guess if it didn’t say owned or installed or something then you probably don’t have the UE version installed.

I’m still enjoying the game out of Nostalgia sake but it does bum me out that I paid the 80.00 plus dollars and didn’t everything yet.

Kinda starting to regret getting the ultimate edition, still got none of the content (especially the Halo characters) and I honestly might just delete the game cause I doubt Ill ever recieve them unless Coalition can guarantee a fix and give me, and many other people what was PROMISED and what we paid for.

I purchased the Ultimate Edition and family share it. I have the Halo Skins. My wife has the Halo Skins also on her account when she logs in on her profile and goes into the game and customise. My son does not have the Halo Skins but he is just under 15 years old. I think that’s the issue because he could never get Griffin in Gears of War 4 for exactly the same reason even though he completed the “Get Griffen Challenge”. How old are the peoples accounts that the skins are not showing up? Under 15 years old? Thoughts?

Good train of thought but I’m 21. I’m pretty sure it’s because they rushed the games release like every other company out there. And with it being rushed they didn’t workout the kinks in the game.

Im not sure if this case could help make more sense for the case but i wanna see your thoughts, So My brother and I got the game on his xbox one, we got the ultimate edition and we also bought the gamepass (We just wanted to try a month). So I played it succesfully on my pc downloading it with his account but the funny thing its that when i entered the game on pc with his account i didn’t got the skins while my brother on his xbox one got it, i checked with other account on pc to see if gameshare worked which it did but still no skins, now a friend of mine which i also shared the game bought the gamepass with his own account and got the skins with no problems (He didnt have them before)… Any thoughts on this case???

I have the xbox ultimate game pass and it lets me play gears 5 but I don’t have any of the ultimate edition unlocks.
When I go to play the ultimate edition it says gears 5 is installed and to play but when I play it I haven’t received any of the unlocks for pc or xbox.

Almost two week in without the content I paid for. And i keep checking Twitter to see if they’re working on it and it doesn’t seem so. Really a huge bummer

Guys. After reading all your answers (None Of that worked for me). Just sign out of all your accounts and log in with the game pass ultimate account, restart the game and that’s it. The characters were there.

Just installed the ultimate edition via Microsoft Store. No bonuses ingame so probably problem still exist.

Nope. Once you’ve unlocked them, they’re yours to keep
