Which do you prefer? If done correctly I prefer mission select but very few games do it correctly barring the dmc series and a few others like Army of two series and the first amazing spider man game. I know that there’s a few more those were just the first two I thought of. The perfect level select should let you play everything again including side missions while keeping all your stats and skills/weapons and letting you upgrade them further. However darksiders 3 manages to mess up new game plus by only allowing you to keep your upgrades after you unlock them again. In its defense though it would probably be a 3 hour game if it let you keep all your stuff from the beginning. Anyway do you prefer new game plus or level select. And we all know that gears 5 deserves a proper version of one of the two.
I won’t touch Gears 5 campaign again but for those who do like replaying it, a New Game + with all of Jack’s skills right from the start could prove to be useful.
Keep everything in Darksiders 3? the game would be completely broken with it, I enjoyed it just fine the way it is (Armageddon 2+ completed).
It’s near impossible to pick one over the other as Mission Select is useful for either something achievement-related or for general enjoyment of a specific part of the Campaign. New Game Plus, on the other hand, is obviously good for being able to proceed through the game with much more power and skill, ultimately making it more enjoyable albeit less challenging.
Such examples are Batman: Arkham and Prototype.
Resident Evil 5’s chapter select was great for me as I enjoyed the Albert Wesker fights.
I just finished armageddon 2 but my xbox crashes everytime I try to equip the armageddon armor just to shatter crystals. At different locations too
That armor is only worth for shattering crystals, nothing else and even at that it’s only real purpose is the lv100 achievement.
I played on Steam, had a bunch of performance issues and crashes. Still a good game, had a lot of fun with it.

I agree. I just played ZA 4 Dead War, I can replay on hard using all found upgrades but it’s a cheap option imo, I’ll go new campaign but there’s good and bad points to game plus and mission select.
