New currency and store for OP 4

I’m 100% feel this. Maybe they will say in patch notes Monday. Otherwise, we will have to wait until Tuesday and it will be too late to use scrap. Hopefully, we can still get 500 iron per ToD.

It was confirmed we still get 500 iron per tour

Just call them “Goins”. Really glad I just saw this after i used 1700 scrap on upgrading cards for horde.

No… Just no… People would call it “Groins” then… :unamused:

The game is already full of suspicious sexual sounding things as it is. Gnasher, Snatcher, Longshot…

Was just about to ask this question myself, thanks for the info.

Thanks for the clarification.

I’ve been playing pop waiting for op4 to come out. Pop has a two level currency mechanism which works OK. One thing I like is you can use the "higher (crystal) " level currency to buy the lower, more useful currency. Some stuff you can only get with crystal so there is a useful strategy decision to be made. Really powerful upgrades are expensive as they should be, but not out of reach for people that can’t play that often. You sacrifice other stuff to upgrades.

Not a big fan of the clan system for horde. I’d like to see a lobby like system for choosing like big boy gears.

Anyway the point is there’s some interesting stuff in pop that my be useful in 5.

For the record I was throwing out “Goins” tongue and cheek. I mean its as original and creative as Gear Coins…ya know…just combining Gears and coins. I guess i could have said “Coirs”

no gears points for tdm?

how much coins do the horde cards cost?

Common - 60
Uncommon - 300
Rare - 1000
Legendary - 4000

20k to go from level 5 to 6 for epic.

Scrap got multiplied by 1.2 in conversion. But 4* cards had a cost increase of 1.667. So we lost value in scrap conversion. Gee thanks TC & @mjrdecision

You might have lost value in a scrap conversion if skill cards were the only thing to be considered.
But since you can now use the Gears Coins to purchase character skins it is considerably better value.

Yes, it looks like weve been screwed over on the conversion rate.
The scrap conversion rate seems to be x1.2, but the cost of horde cards compared to scrap is 1.5 to 1.67
It was better to upgrade cards with the old scrap before OP4.
From here on in its down to if we can earn coins faster than scrap.
I should have upgraded my clayton cards yesterday…

Not telling us this conversion rate before today, and having this conversion rate is a total ■■■■ move by TC. I expect to be compensated by 47% coins of my old scrap total.

So you assume I care about character or weapon skins? Skill cards help in Horde & Escape. What benefit does a skin give, other than looking cool?

For those of you who have played from the beginning, what skins are not available for purchase in the store? Which ones were kept locked?

I didn’t see the chrome steel ones? What else is missing.
