Why do you care so much? Just play the game because you love it?
I do play because I enjoy it. I also like the feel of something to work towards. Do you not like hard work and the fruits of your labor?
I donāt like to work particularly hard when playing video games

I like a challenge of completing a games, but dislike when the bar keeps getting moves over and over through the same exact content. Itās annoying and feels like a waste of time. Normally itās a fun endeavor, but now it feels like work. I work enough in real life. I donāt want to āwork hardā on something thatās supposed to be a stress relief after working hard all day at my job.

Iām just ready to hear what we are voting on/choosing for September so we can get this over with. Any news on when we will hear what the plan is for coordinating ācommunity achievementsā?
I honestly hope they listen to fan feedback and do what most fans wantā¦ no more achievements

Iād love that, but you know it wonāt happen. Iāll bet there will be a few per āgame modeā with 1 grindy horde one and 1 grindy MP one.

Lol I really wonder whatād be the results if they did some official poll on here with the achievement options and one option was simply no more achievements.
I think Iāve seen only less than 5 people post on here praising new achievements but maybe theyād all come out of the wood work if some official poll was released
How do you know it will be September for the community achievements? Itās almost August now so not much time left and prepping updates takes a good while.
Oh and even though I have all the cheevos for Gears 4, if the option ever came up to vote āno more achievesā, I would pick it. I play Gears twice a week for fun now and Iād prefer to keep it that way so my OCD doesnāt get the best of me.

Bump- just wanted to give a heads up. An official thread will be made tomorrow for all you guys to throw in some ideas for the last custom-made achievements. Start your brainstorming! Since this is going to be an official thing now, I might as well pitch in a few ideas of mine. Nothing grindy or anything, I promise.

Obviously need a group to do that and honestly itās not a challenge at all. Truthfully, why even add achievements if itās just doing the same thing over again with different characters?
But then again, with so many achievements already is there anything left to do thatās unique anyways? Itāll be interesting to see what others come up with. I seem to lack a creative side so Iāll likely never come up with one. 
Exactly. The term achievement actually means very little in a lot of these and other games I might add. Also you are limited to the mechanics of the game of course.

I like this a lot. Fun suggestion like this are what Iām hoping to see. Or achievements like the 5 soldiers on lift. It was tough but I enjoyed the challenge and it isnāt something you have to grind for days.

I actually agree, there is no new ground to break. Everything has been covered.
The only aspect untouched by achievements I think are the easter eggs. There are actually loads of relatively big easter eggs in the game which I think lots of people may not be aware of. I would honestly love a list consisting exclusively of doing the easter eggs.
It shows people a side to the game they might not have seen, becuase lets be honest every other aspect of the game has been done to death. It would be a nice way to say goodbye to gears 4 and get hyped for gears 5.
