The game is trash online. Not competitive at all and theres no skills needed anymore. This Gears is as casual as it gets and the only people defending it are those who couldn’t get a kill in any Gears game before this one. Campaign is honestly pretty damn good in Gears 5 but I think everyone should show their dissatisfaction for multiplayer by not playing the game online. I already dropped it all together and I’m back on Gears 4 for when I’m feeling for some online versus.

A “Good player” has they call are nothing but crabs with shotgun who thinks this Is a one Weapon game.
Gears MP always has been a map control game, taking power weapons,since gow 1 boomshot, sniper granades has been there.
This post “Overpowered Gears 5” are nothing but a bunch of kids that don’t know how to máster any Weapon but gnasher.

Yeah, and people camping with Lancers with the strongest bullet magnetism the Gears series has seen is threatening a lot of what you have said.
The skill gap has been reduced. Map control doesn’t matter as much anymore. Weapons don’t require skill anymore. Forget the Gnasher.
Power weapons don’t matter when you are in a team and communicating as much as they used to. Power weapons used to turn the tide of matches. Now they are a mild inconvenience.
Gears 1, you needed skill to be good. Gears 5? Nah. Not with this strong bullet magnetism malarkey.

Agreed. I was on the other side of the fence on this before. There are things to work out but I am now killing like crazy. I really feel it’s the network. They need to establish a better connection for everyone. They will fine tune things but I can now see who is new to this because I am out playing people. What helped me is I moved my setting up to 27. All of them. Took my thumb grips off to and it made a world of difference. I’m wall bouncing in and out of situations. I’m still getting killed stupid ways but I’m giving it a chance. Also don’t rely on the kill cam. EVER!.
Skill gap is very very small compared to gears 4
Map control is now “spot and cross” and not moving around the map as a lone wolf dominating key zones and taking control of key zones to give u more clutch potential

Like it or not, GOW never has favored lone wolfs,
Always since begining this was a 5 vs 5
Whenever who knows how to break a flank ,how to blind enemy , how to push and defend with riffles Will be the winner.
If anyone atemp to Runing like a headless chicken around the map trying to “clutch” and “be a pro” it Will be annihilate.

If you only try to win a match with a gnasher in your Hand sadly the one that has no skill it’s you or anyone that thinks this Is a one Weapon game.

The bullet magnetism is higher in this game. Naturally, that is going to lower the skill gap.
I don’t want a one weapon game. I never had wanted a one weapon game. In fact, I’m rubbish with the Gnasher. There were Golds in KotH in Gears 4 that were better than me at a Gnasher when I was in Onyx 2. I want a game where support play is rewarded, and having good accuracy is rewarded. Where making smart plays, is rewarded, because that is what I’m best at.
This game doesn’t reward you for your smart plays, or your good accuracy, because with the bullet magnetism, nearly anyone can do it.
Oh yeah, smoke grenades. Never thought of that one, would be useful if my entire team used them. Oh no, they are using the overpowered flashbangs, which blind you, stun you and distort your sound for multiple seconds. Fair? Oh yeah. Fair.

I will be doing the same with this game as I did with gears 4 , leaving it for a few months, so that all the noobs/people that have never really played gears before, to leave, most will leave once the new cod hits

scared ? lol nothing to be scared of, give it a couple months and you will find the real gears players, plus hopefully they will address some issues.
the best feeling is when you get a kill and your still fighting a battle and they spawn rightbehind you, bot to mention getting 5 ■■■■ downed by a claw from across the map. feels good
