The delays. 100% makes it friendly for the new players.
It takes actual skill shots and abilities away.

The only delay I had was during 2 matches where my ping was between 50-150 and even then the shot delay wasn’t as atrocious as gears 2 which I consider to have the worst delay in the series. Right now my ping is at 10-20 and boy is it the smoothest gears game I’ve played. One thing I do hope TC does is match people by ping because I feel bad for new players when veteran players have a low ping, it reminds me of host advantage in the old gears games lmao good times

Pretty new to Gears multi, Played 4 a little and was never any good at it, but in 5 I’ve had a breakthrough using a simple formula: equip gnasher, throw flash, and hipfire until death. It’s way more effective than anything else I’ve tried, and there appears to be tons of people doing the exact same thing.
Trouble is I can’t tell if this is how I was supposed to play Gears 4 and never understood until now, or if this tactic is broken like the hit detection.
That’s classic gears play style plus active reload can’t forget that and how I play 85%-90% of the time unless the enemy team wants to have lancer battles lol but yeah the flash grenade in here reminds me of the flash ones in gears 2 or 3 can’t remember which before they patched them.
its been a long time since i played gears 3 so i think its good for rusty players.

Lancer GL kills everything, finally runs out of ammo, turns into lancer that does more damage and higher rate of fire.
Then you have flashbangs EVERY respawn, explosives like nukes and stopping power, mixed with slower movement. The game is VERY VERY Casual. Its depth has gone, the shotgun battles are “I one shot you, or I do 97% and you one shot me” OR “I 2 shot down you from 30 foot”. There is no dance, no fun, no skill.
Hard aim LT lancer and shotty and get 100 kills every koth game, I know, because I do it. Its the way this ■■■■ game was designed. For console sales, mtx and season passes. No depth, no skil…

Why do people say “adapt”. I’ve been lancering since LAN events on GoW1. The reality is, it’s just easier and easier to do it. Its not about adapting AT ALL. The game is just easy which isnt a good thing
i feel like every weapon in the game is better than the gnasher in most situations. my biggest complaint right now with the game is ranked its a coin toss, i can have people who are so new to the game that dont know how to roadie run or i can have normal players. i have quiters almost everygame, add a punishment of a temp ban for leaving games. its just not fun to play down a player or two
In my opinion the multiplayer mode is a little less complicated than it should, the damage of some weapons is really high, but for example the gnasher is beautiful, for a long time the community has sent comments on this and apparently they took us in mind, I appreciate you worrying about us and I think you should only change certain things in the multiplayer
Hate to break it to you bud but that’s what happens when you’re a veteran gears players lol. With all the weapons being stronger now compared to previous games a good player like myself is amazing and an amazing player as yourself is godly. I do disagree with the it takes no skill comment though because you know what it’s like to have skill so therefore can’t speak for new players who have none and trust me there are a lot of them. Also don’t know who you’ve been going up against but shotgun dancing is still in the game it only just happens when you have skilled players going up against each other. In regards to power weapons like the Lancer GL it’s just that a power weapon just like the boomshot and any other, it’s in your best interest to pick it up before the enemy just like any other power weapon in previous gears.

It’s not in the game and won’t be. At a high level shotguns will be used as hard aim machines not dances. how is a solo player meant to enjoy this game? im literally this crossed and downed in .1 second from its lancers and If somehow survive, I get killed by air rockets and if I somehow dodge all that and the tagged nades a flashback i’ve turned away from stuns and flashes me. Not for me. This franchise is dead to me. I unisntalled today.
It wont make any difference but I’m done attempting to make excuses for this franchise. Its not gears anymore.

That’s funny as hell hasn’t been done to me or done it to someone else but yeah shots come from the gun not the center of the screen like gears 1 or god I’m gonna have bad luck for saying it’s name Judgement 
lol, but I will say only some of the shot should have registered considering the distance of both players even if it was hard aim so yeah who knows what went wrong there lol.
I agree with the issue about flash grenades. I do hope they tone down the flash grenades as they have in previous gears games and I just want to wish just the best in your future gaming endeavors. It’s a sad day when gears loses a veteran player.
Yeah played since 2006, Loved the franchise but this was too much too bring me back. I’ve enjoyed my story with GoW and shared it, that’s enough me for. Goodbye lads.

Aim assist is the problem.
If you play execution or esclation (no aim assist), then the game is so much more fun.

I’ll watch the whole video later but based on the first 3 minutes I agree that Cliff brought a lot of the good things gears has today but there was also rumors going around during the making of gears 3 that he was tired of getting shotgunned and that he wanted to remove the gnasher from gears 3 lol. People also forget that Cliff helped during development for judgement too so I’m just trying to say that he wasn’t as perfect as some people make him that’s all.
