Meet your new Moderators team!

Haha, I’m flattered but I’m sure there are way more deserving people than me. I really don’t actually contribute to the communitto be fair unlike those above. Plus I’m probably seen not suitable anyway.

Well you’re active enough in the community as a whole (here, streams, twitter etc) that it would make sense imo.

Who knows, maybe you’ll be a mod a few years down the line?

Congrats to the new team , keep up the good work

Maybe one day who knows, but I’m already a moderator on /r/Gearsofwar for a year now anyway. Going to be much more active there again since my I’m graduating soon. But honestly, being a mod actually means nothing though some people actually think otherwise

But anyway I’m sure these new folks will do a great job. I just mind boggled why the old mods not a part of this team, since they seem to have done a good job on the old forums.

Is that place more active now, back in the day it was so barebones?

My guess would be that they didn’t want to return due to one reason or another, but it is odd that most if not the entire team has been switched out.

Well it’s not a ghost town now, though while it seems the subreddit is dying there is still some fair bit of activity. I’m always open to feedback to improve the sub and hopefully with E3 round the corner, the sub will gain traction.

Indeed, also I would have thought Crobos would have been promoted to senior Mod by now, I mean he has been mod for quite a long time. But anyway I hope TC clarify this. I mean we’re not the only ones suprised about this.

I think the reddit (and this Forum) mostly suffers from a lack of interest from the general market as a whole. Gears doesn’t have the presence it used to on the 360 this generation (nor does Halo) so it’s tough to get traffic. The interest in Gears just isn’t what it used to be, sadly.

I hope whatever news of a Gears game we get this E3 is fresh and interesting enough to bring back some of the lost spotlight the franchise has suffered.

I am already part of The Coalition Army as Creator but I would also like to be a moderator. Help make this community better and bigger. How can I be moderator?

Continue to be a great contributor on these forums and in the Gears community in general and we might reach out to you at some point when there is a need to expand the current team. Thanks for your interest and passion for the game!

Congrats on your appointment.

I certainly hope they pay you VERY well to weed through the constant hate on these forums.

I HIGHLY recommend you all start using the actual game to get opinions. Always remember he forums and twitter are a very small %age of your player base. Often, gamers who are playing have different opinions but they aren’t as vocal via blogs and posts. Some great ideas are found within the player base in game. Start playing and create conversation. Join horde matches and listen to what people need or what the problems are. That’s the way to truely listen. Experience yourself with others and bounce ideas.

Can’t tell if your serious or joking :stuck_out_tongue:

But these forum mods don’t get paid, nor they are a part of TC. They are simply volunteers helping TC to foster a positive environment for all and encourage community participation. As far as I know the only feedback they collect is the wy the forums run and possible general feedback.

I was serious. They should be paid well to navigate this community and maintain civility lol.

I know they use forums for feedback. That’s what I’m saying. They shouldn’t. They would find far better information faster with a headset

I think I might be confused here what type of feedback are you free referring to feedback to improve the game or feedback to improve the forum?

It is only the latter they collect feedback and even then if they collect feedback in game those people probably don’t use the forums at all to give valuable feedback how to improve it, give thoughts about the rules etc.

Thanks!
