That’s every match for me lately. This new tuning + constant consistency issues created by these players make the game unplayable.
I’m tired of the game teleporting me when someone spikes. This only happens in Gears and has been an issue since Gears 4 yet it’s still present here.
Low Ping Search should = LOW PING SEARCH. Not just a close server to me – I don’t want to play with high ping fluctuation players. Keep them away from me.

Sadly this is not exclusive to PvP. It has been on Escape for a while and lately I’ve also seen the teleporting on Horde.
Servers seem to be running on a potato for the past weeks.

Connecting people with High ping difference has been big problem to TC in Every Gears they made , and Gears 5 is not difference .
Steady pings with same region , no problem at all.
But these region jumpers , sometimes they are God s with their 150-170 ping just eating Every single shot, none of shots get registered , and there is a problem.
TC should know how to fix this they have done it before .
- I think problem name is “netcode” , but what i know and do they care , hopely .

Yeah really bad connections lately. Played a KOTH game where everyone had pings around 250 apart from one person which made shooting people almost impossible. Then went over to a game of Guardian and pings were going over 1000, rubber banding all over the place. Turned the game off after that.

Fact: The connections have significantly gotten worse since the tuning update.
They claim the tuning isn’t responsible for the connection drops.
They also have no idea what’s causing half the issues in the game.

Nah, I gave up on Ranked and TC ever fixing this. Remember, we have to be inclusive - apparently that includes Wifi-warriors in the middle of a swamp.

Yes thank you, can you breakdown what’s being done? I really do miss playing but like others have said the high ping players just ruin the game making it unplayable

Every match tonight theres at least 1 person at 1200-1900 ping.
Then ppl start quitting, cant get a match completed.
Eu servers broke again??

Your 2nd and 4th link is exactly how vs is for me. Ping goes well over 1000, rubber band everywhere and then drops for a bit and then bounces back up.
Keeping well away from ranked at the moment.
