Ruins wasn’t a DLC map. It was a launch map. But yeah, it would be fun to play it again.
Foundation is a good map.
Foundation also plays much better than Day One ever did, which was one of the worst Gears 2 maps.
Rustlung was in Gears 3. It ain’t new map.
My bad I dunno why I said that, I must’ve been a little drunk.
I meant that locust themed maps like Ruins that happened to be DLC like the maps called Rails and Highway (personal favorite DLC map from Gears 2).
The sad part is this series has too many greats maps to keep getting the same remakes or remakes of the few that suck.
True.
I have a long list and any one of those are high quality maps.
But they do need to be modified, I feel, to fit into a 5v5 and more rifle focused game.
Just expanded on and made bigger.
That way, it’s not just a direct copy and paste but altered to make sure it works.

What is one map that they didn’t remake in Gears 4 that you would like to see in Gears 5? I wanted River to be a remake for Gears 4 but it didn’t happen so now I hope that they remake River for Gears 5!

Because it’s a bad map for Gears 4/5.
It’s way too small.
So Raven Down is a bigger map then Mansion?

Raven Down only has nades and no power weapons.
Imagine how bad the spawns and spawn traps would be for Mansion.
I think there’s a high chance we’ll see a River remake, but I’d quite like Process as well. Quite liked Trenches as well, although I’m not sure how it’d work out for space for the modes.

No doubt trenches and river are the best choice if they only cut down on too many remakes
