Thats fine and all but let some other map that hasn’t been remade yet get the chance. Ive said this on multiple threads. This series has too many great maps to keep getting the same remakes every game. Gridlock had its time. Time to give us something else

Gridlock is just one map, it’s not like it’s an entire pack of maps itself.

Thats not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is that Gridlock takes up a spot that could go to a better map that hasnt been remade 5 times at this point. Its time to retire it.

I hope we get to see more Gears 2 maps remade. There wasnt a single map in that game i didnt like. I thought the Gears 3 maps were pretty bad, Gears 4 maps were decent, but Gears 1 maps have been remade way too many times. Im so tired of Gridlock haha

I agree to the extent that the do consider how well particular maps would work for the game. Like if it came down to a vote, I’m sure the top picks would be Blood Drive, River, etc. etc., which are actually super crappy maps that are strangely very popular. Like I’m pretty sure that they had tried to bring River back either to Gears 3 or 4 but didn’t because it just wouldn’t work with the current style of the game. That’s the kind of oversight we need. So if they give us a vote, then need to pick out maps they believe to be healthiest for the game and let us pick from that. Stuff like Old Bones or Cove are really good maps but not super popular.

The only maps (in Gears4) that i really really HATE (for Horde) are Avalance and all the reskins of maps already existing in other form like Harbor and Harbor Haze just give us more diffrent Maps other then just the same Map with a diffrent Weather condition. Goes for Versus 2.

Oh and please put Fallout in Gears 5

Since playing Gears in late 2006 early 2007 I’ll greatly enjoyed the maps & with each release of Gears the updated version of old favorites has been fun but that’s just getting old now… can we just have NEW maps (*Ones that don’t look like cartoons)

I agree with less cartoon like maps but some classics are too good not to come back!

I agree with that but each map divide’s the population so would rather lose those to keep wait times down

It wouldn’t affect player populations and match making times. Unless you were down to literally single digit populations or something, and had quitters due to map choices.

Rustlung,

Drydock

The Slab,

Glory,

Come up for selection or are voted / the only options then it’s worth the lobby dissolving :slight_smile:
