Coincidentally TC not touching things is usually for the better. Most of what they are doing in this Operation is essentially a revert on most of the “challenged expectations” that they committed to in Gears 5. Just goes to show change for the sake of change never works out.

Why do I get the sense that the ranking system has alot to do with the removal of modes.
Guardian and the current system (plus edits to they mode itself) made some matches very frustrating.
Now OP4 is coming with a new rank system and boom 2 more modes gone? Leaving us with just 3 modes in ranked? I get needing to make updates and such but why not leave them until the revised version of them are ready? Are the modes that are staying the only ones that work with the new system? Is this why Guardian is coming back in test mode? To see if we like the “tweeks” or if it works from a points perspective?
Bring em all back!!!

Well it was confirmed in the dev stream that Guardian will be a featured Playlist in Op 4 and that it has been improved. It won’t be in Ranked, but they said this could always change.

Many thanks for the info, and thank you for watching the stream, it’s a bit hard to do on my phone as videos tendto kill my battery very quickly. I didn’t realize FFA was making it into ranked.

This is quite literally the stupidest thing TC could have done. Watch your already ridiculously low player count DESERVEDLY drop off a cliff. What TF are you guys thinking removing TDM from ranked? What an absolute joke, We wanted new maps and a ranking system that isn’t completely broken. Instead you take away the only “standard” ranked match type? What if I don’t want to chase “objectives” like sitting inside of a circle? If I wanted to play a football game I’d play Madden.
Bring back ranked TDM, FFS, please stop trying to rebuild the car while we on the road. I was really hopeful after you removed the magnetism, but one step forward, two steps back.

FFA in ranked 
That is mostly likely worst “Ranked” mode ever ,
There are always 2-3 players who has team up together , you dont really play 1vs1 on FFA more likely you end up situation where is 3vs1

I personally stopped playing TDM all together in ranked. What’s the point in playing it if I’m just gonna lose cause my team is feeding every match🤷♂️

What’s crazy is that TC wouldn’t say this in the News Feed, if it is indeed “temporary.” Why would that be saved for the live stream? It is one additional sentence.
I don’t have time to watch their live stream. Nor do I have the desire to listen to them try and defend their dog-■■■■ ideas to “fix” a “work in progress” that was released at a $60 price point 10 months ago.

It happens in every game mode 
it’s just that in TDM the entire objective is ‘don’t die and kill them’. I’ve literally watched my spawn pool get cut in half in the first minute cause my team just runs in a gets bodied. theres other problems that don’t help like tuning but that’s another topic.

Agreed TDM is part of Gears experiment and
it should stay with other Ranked modes
Somebody should arrange vote/poll
For TDM , simply yes or no for Ranked

This is not first time when TC is dropping Game mode/s off the game , first time they did it on
Ultimate edition , they were removing KOTH entirely off all playlist even social , that time this community of Fellow Gearheads stick together and we demand KOTH back on playlists and we get it
Question is : who is gonna be Leader this time and lead us to goal 
They never said they were completely taking it out, It’s just being taken out of ranked. I dont see what the problem is.
