I wish the people who played Guardian knew they improved it… I always get stuck with idiot gnasher fanboys who don’t know how to use the radar or spot as the leader, & immediately run out & die.
How many times do I need to type in global chat “Hey Leader… Use your Radar!” 
I’m actually really enjoying guardian and if it comes back that’s the ranked mode I’m maining.
Anyways, KOTH is still KOTH, boring And Mindless, people are still leaving and creating lobsided and unwinnable games.
KOTH might have honestly the highest quit rate among all the ranked modes.
I wished TC came out with that statistic. Because it’s definitely true now that they’re only four ranked modes.
SInce im a dad with a job, No, I dont watch the live streams. AInt nobody got time for that.
I do however read the the press releases, where I assume any relevant info is posted. And this has not been mentioned anywhere.
this is what the release says.
"As such, we’ve selected modes that represent a wide variety of the most popular play styles: King of the Hill (multi-respawns) and Gridiron (single-life) as well as a smaller squad with 2v2 Gnashers and solo play in Free For All.
Team Deathmatch & Escalation are being removed from Ranked. Team Deathmatch will now be in a dedicated Quickplay playlist and Escalation will continue to be available in custom lobbies."

They don’t mention everything in the press releases, which I was surprised to find out, as well. I know someone asked a question during the stream about the popularity of TDM, and he said “I know it’s a really popular game type, however, we actually removed it to do some changes” (I’m paraphrasing). He also mentioned during the stream that escalation was not very popular at all, despite being the esports game mode (which I was not aware of), which is why they removed that game mode from ranked.

They should do E sports TDM would be more popular

to add insult to injury, you’ll be in a 1v3 tdm match and all the new players entering go on the side that already has 3 players lol
just delete the damn mode like you did escalation
So essentially by removing tdm we now have 5-10 minutes waiting time for gridiron and a large player base quitting.
Can somebody explain too me how removing tdm was a good idea? Gears was borderline dead already, removing the most popular game type seems like suicide.

To me Gears isnt a good game to watch other people play. Add on the cringe factor of the promos with the teams crossing their arms, the tbagging and sh%t talking from a team thats down 6 to 1. Its just sad
