Seriously TC, have you not received enough complaints about how bad casual TDM is and that we don’t care for the changes you’re making. I play with more than 2 friends in a party and casual lobbies are always uneven. Just release your crap so we can tell you it sucks like every other change you make for god knows what reason and you can change it back to something resembling classic gears. From now on just throw out a survey before making a change or something because everything you guys have implemented has been universally despised by the fans.

Got on this morning in hopes to play. The update isn’t out yet. Anyone know if it’s still happening today?
The title update was delayed til next tuesday, patch notes coming this thursday.

What time is this happening? It’s August 25th and the update still isn’t out
The update doesn’t come out as soon as hits one minute past midnight.
Most updates happen around 10AM TC time, Its 7am TC time currently.
Edit: Sometimes it can take a small amount of time to push the update out too, so I would expect at some point in the next 3-4 hours.

The updates usally go out at 10 am PST. This has been know since Gears 4. Its not like the clock hits 12 am then BOOM update

God damn, I’ve mainly been playing KOTH and haven’t touched TDM at all until now since op4
Finally played my first game
All I gotta say it’s good to be back.
It’s usual problems are still there, that one garbage teammate who dies and wastes lives, Camp heavy even more now with the inclusion of 4 players. Spamming of power weapons.
But ■■■■, playing at my own pace, nothing beats that.
With stacks pretty much dead I’m having a blast so far.
Well, so far I’ve stopped playing altogether because me and my friends got tired of KOTH and we can’t rank with TDM anymore… I honestly don’t get what people were complaining about if the throwing and spawn camping is still the same issue… I mean, it’s not team deathmatch anymore but a pumped up wingman at this point

Just really confused about why I have to be a level 30 to play with others. This doesn’t make any sense to me. Why wouldn’t I be able to play 3 player TDM? I can play king of the hill with 3 friends but not team deathmatch? I’ve been a propaganda model for epic games telling everyone to get this game and now I’m a jackass cause we can’t run 5’s now.
Also while I’m here I gotta say whoever came up with the idea to eliminate 4 player campaign and make it 3, and the 3rd player having to be a robot—was actually an idiot
Games can run 8-player squads. Epic Games is supposed to be better than this. Lmao. What a joke

This is my first time ever posting here. I am kind of upset that they took away the TEAM component of TEAM deathmatch. Why would i want to play a duo TEAM deathmatch when I used to play with squads of 3-4 or even 5 people. Now I am stuck playing a duo style of TEAM deathmatch. Most of my friends stopped playing the game after they made the team limit of 2. It’s just me and my other friend now and we get matched up with 2 other teammates that are below our skill for 3/4 matches. It doesn’t help when one guy goes 3-12… and his friend goes 8-11.
People should know that if you are playing ranked, then you are bound to meet up with stacked teams. I don’t think they should have ever removed squads of 3-4 from competitive play (RANKED), but then left it on casual play (Quickmatch). It makes no sense.
This post will definitely not make a difference, but whatever… It makes me feel better.

TC … trying to be civil at this point is getting tuff…
They lied & said they were going to make it “more competitive”
But really? Forcing two random players is more competitive ?! People you have no chemistry with & can lose the whole match.
Had a dude die 24 times because I asked him to stop using the lives when I was 27-4 & still lost.
He purposely put in chat that he was going to die on purpose since I asked.

Dude i have to deal with these kind of players everyday, What are we supposed to do when we have these kind of players on our team? 
I had a game where we had 5 lives left and the other team was on their last life. My random teammate runs straight in to them 6 times in a row and wasted all of our respawns. Then we we lose because its 3v4 when WE WERE UP BY 5 LIVES. How is this “more competitive”. Someone please help me understand.
These kind of experiences make me want to KMS,
