Well when I was playing gears 4 , I kept on getting kicked never ever quitted one game , and it finally stacked up to 30 days suspension and I made a new account. But yeah it’s true they can’t decipher between getting kicked and quiting …then it also kept on happening with that account. Gears is the only game that kicked me no other game does. And thats the truth
TC: For all of you complaining about quitters on the forums. Will suspensions like this suffice?

The system allows for occasional disconnects though. The more games you complete, the shorter your suspension will be when you do get an occasional disconnect or game crash.
So if you can’t actually complete enough games to keep your suspension time manageable (whether it’s a disconnect or not) you shouldn’t be queuing for Ranked anyways imo.

Obviously I was being hyperbolic. But it sometimes seems that’s what the community wants when it comes to quitters.
LMAO I just got kicked out of the lobby while voting for a map and got banned for 30 mins. Playing on my friend’s account and never left a game in his life because he never really plays PVP.
And before anyone says it’s my connection, it’s 100% not. I’m not one of those guys lol. It’s the server disconnecting people as it’s always done.
How can you be this harsh on quitters when your servers are this bad? It’s cringe af.

Well I am just telling you what happened to me in 4 , never quit on game , kept getting kicked , suspension started off with 10mins then it ended up 30 days . Never quit once. It’s the gears of war server sucks hard. Halo I never got kicked or any other game
The guys getting that harsh of a penalty aren’t getting DC’d, they’re quiting a dozen+ ranked matches a day, most of the ones posting on Twitter and reddit are quite open about it.

I would suggest reaching out to Coalition Gears, or Dana Sissions on twitter to have your account investigated.
I know it’s not always possible but playing on wifi isnt recommended due to exactly that if your internet drops from wifi that’s not related to the game at all, but more the issue and risk of playing on wifi, Also you do have option to rejoin the match so you can avoid a penalty.

those lobby dissolve bans were a pain in the ■■■ in Gears 4.
Well speaking from my own experience, I’ve never quit and it’s still this harsh. I consider 30 mins for a first time offense when the game hasn’t even started to be harsh.
Like yeah it wasn’t my fault, but even assuming that it was, it’s still harsh.

I just got suspended for 639 days!!! WTF! LOL!!! So stupid!
I have been kicked from the game so many times , but I have tried to get back into the game, it never works.
I have also quit games because people are not playing, but 639 days. LOL!!!
The only thing I play is versus, so I guess I am done with this game.
