Idc about the past with lawbreakers and all of those games he’s made lawbreakers was fun in a way just not that many players but having cliff back in the scene would change so much

He was never a Gnasher whore. He was actively against it every step of the way. He pushed often for mechanics to slow down Gnasher gamwplay.
GoW2: stopping power, slower movement speed, nade plants, ink grenade, ragdoll from smokes, characters going idle stance
GoW3: incidaries, retro lancer and sawed off shotgun, ink stuns, constant buffing of retro etc
Oh and the infamous “adapt” response to the fanbase, which ironically, Epic could never do.
At this point him returning would be hype because who else would be left to be the face of Gears but never forget who he was back in the day. Rod and him went hand in hand lol

No thanks, lots of users complain about rifle play in multiplayer already. Cliff wanted multiplayer to be more cover based and rifle focused.

I understand he has passion for the franchise but have any of you guys been paying attention to what he’s been doing in the meantime? He made an Overwatch clone that flopped. He made a fortnite clone that also flopped and tanked his company. With this recent track record, why would we want him back?

To be fair, LawBreakers was actually really fun. It had no marketing thus died quickly as a result.
But no, I don’t want to see his hands on Gears ever again.
