Looking to Get Back In

Hey guys, it’s been a number of years since I played Gears. I’m just looking around for people to play with. The group in my discord server tend to stick to a relatively popular MMO we all play regularly.

Just trying to touch back with a lot of people who might still hang around here, or anyone who doesn’t know me who is interested in some mid-casual content. I just got through the tutorial and I’m honestly itching to play the story. I played Gears 4 but I barely touched the multiplayer for that, horde felt a little dead and I think the steam wore off rather quickly. But I miss the struggle, the chainsaws, the explosions. And I’m in a pretty good place in my life to pick it back up.

Well I’m not looking to get into the game seriously, not in a competitive tournament sense at least. My kind of serious is just having fun, playing games, making friends. I don’t care about the win as much as I care about the team.

It’s just my special brand of fun. But also I practiced a ton back when 3 was announced and released, it maintained fairly well through Judgement and even my strict story-only 4 playthrough. The basics never leave you, which are the foundation to everything.
