When did ring captures become worth 30? This is terrible!

Did they change the ring points from 300 to 30? I’m getting 30 points a ring and now people don’t even get it they just go for kills and downs…10 a break instead of 100…there is no point sacrificing yourself for 10 points now… Downs give 90
