The thing about having to “re do” 5 that is so bloody frustrating is the fact TC, maybe MS? caused so many problems themselves. Gears 4 was in a very good situation in 2019, why for the love of Gears didn’t they just build on that.!!

I think that they felt like a new game should be a new game and not a continuation of the previous one. Beta testing it would’ve been smarter though.

I’m sure they beta tested it.
I see the conversation going like this:
Dev- “Boss, the beta test revealed a lot of fatal errors.”
Manager- “Ship it anyway.”
