I don’t think you quite understand why everyone is complaining about this game. The large majority of complaints towards Gears 5 are not “entitlement”.
It’s more about them trying to play on people wanting a complete set of items than complaints about getting free stuff. Anybody who likes the skins will be more inclined to purchase the remaining skins to complete the set when given a partial set it plays on people’s need to have things feel ‘complete’ or a desire for their weapons to match. It’s a gift horse sure, but it’s one that is designed to encourage you to pay for it anyway and that’s really the issue. It’s more akin to a drug dealer giving the first hit free to get you to come back after you’re addicted.

LoL and you didn’t understand I wasn’t talking about people complaining about gameplay, core mechanics, or connectivity issues. I’ve made many posts about alot of those issues myself. But agree to disagree.
I’ve read the word “entitled” so much from this forum alone that I don’t even register it as a word anymore. It means nothing.

No, one year they charged $30 for the girl to get her present and gave nothing for many subsequent years. Then they decided many years later to make her to do a million chores and give her mad duplicates that were worth ■■■■.
Oh boy here we go again with that boogeyman Fortnite. Not like the game League of Legends that’s as old as this franchise has had a cosmetic shop for 98% of its lifespan.

These could be 1 dollar and I’d still not buy them. The point isn’t how much they are. The point is they’re making you pay for the rest regardless. I can buy these skins right now with no problem but if you keep bending the knee then they’re just gonna keep pushing buttons. Wait until it’s something you DO actually like. Then you’ll have no room to conplain.

Technically they already are a dollar. $5 for five skins. I’m not sure why you’re telling me to wait, the skins in the pack I did want and I bought them as soon as they appeared in the store. Didn’t even know they were gonna give skins for the other weapons. I saw these skins that I knew I wanted and thought they were fairly priced, done deal. Zero regrets and even better I know I contributed to a future map, modes or some other type of free content all players will be able to enjoy.
I don’t know how I gotta say this but I guess I can’t get it through to anyone. I know they’re fairly priced, man. That’s not the argument I’m making. If you think you’re buying these and helping the gears economy then that’s laughably ignorant but you do you I guess.
