Jack-Forge Master (Adv Horde Cards/Tactics) by Hu1k Daddy

Jack should be able to grab energy from power tabs, because nobody else likes to do it.

Is that a big deal?
I mean,Del have 50% repair speed and 25% repair discount.
Jack have (with lvl 2 perk) 9 % discount and with the repair card,100% repair speed. Also being able to fix things from a safe distance.

Know what’d be awesome? If Jack could build a unique fortification on the taps, that automatically drained them between waves. It could still be damaged like anything else, but it’d be a great QOL thing.

Personally I don’t think it’s a big deal if Jack helps out with repairs but as it’s typically something that isn’t appreciated by Del (based purely on my experiences in previous matches) I’ll only get involved with repairs if Del is struggling to get everything repaired/reloaded between each wave (plus Jack has more than enough to do with his picking up weapons/players responsibilities :joy:).

Thank you, hope TC can solve this big issue, crossing fingers.

With release of new cards, I use an Offensive Jack on Master and it’s quite devastating. I got MVP 6 waves in a row on Master yesterday and I’d say use this only on Horde Frenzy as you never get Forges

Backstab
Hijacked enemies explode on contact
Hijacked enemies have more health
Hijacked enemies do Bleed damage
Zapper Upgrade.

Couple this build with the Cooldown Perk, it’s devastating. The Zapper Upgrade really speeds up the Cooldown when you zap enemies. I was getting Hijack every wave on Master difficulty with about Level 7 perk for Cooldown.

In regards to hijacked units, in my opinion, best units to target are Boomer Scion, Mulcher Scion or any unit with a Trishot or Rocket Launcher. Ignore Pouncers and DR1s with Overkill’s, not worth it.

Claw drones are devastating and I solo destroyed a Guardian with one. My highest damage on Wave 4 of Horde Frenzy was 2.3 million damage. Different way to play Jack and really fun in my opinion.

I will give that build a try, thanks. My only issue is, as you say it’s useful for frenzy and I rarely ever see or need a jack in frenzy even at master except a couple of maps. Pahanu I found it useful and allfathers before the jack beam nerf, now I’d rather have someone else.

Hey, me and a friend tested jacks movement speed perk and came to the conclusion that is has no effect. We raced both with boost and without boosting and it appeared to make no difference ounce so ever. Have you tested it recently because it seems to be currently bugged.

Hey there,

I have. It does help you turn faster and go over small fortifications faster, but straight line speed is kinda bonkers right now.

There are quite a few classes that are having issues at the moment, but the ULT cool down perk does definitely work.

Cheers!

Is backstab worth upgrading? Mine is level 1 and i have 40 duplicates… I am waiting until we can scrap cards so i can turn those into useful cards for other classes…

Once you level it up, how many seconds extra do you get per kill?

I hate this meaningless percentage BS, which they never explain anywhere… How many SECONDS per kill, TC?

Thanks.

I find it’s very useful…
On boss waves, I find a Boomshot/Dropshot Scion, and hijack at, at least, the first 1/4th of the wave and after four or 5 kills I’ve got plenty of time left to search for newly spawned enemies to kill and often wind up being the last “enemy” alive with time to recapture a destroyed tap or two before exploding…which is really helpful when encountering the many randoms who don’t care about leaving one crawling to get the taps.

I find the dropshot scion very challenging to use effectively. The dropshot fires/aims differently, somehow…

I like boomshots, salvos, and claws… Trishots i find useless…

I don’t mind hijacking a Dropshot when there is a group of enemies clumped at a barrier…I can use it well enough but I definitely prefer a Boomshot Scion. Salvos and claws definitely come next and you’re right, the trishot is pointless.
Gotta love those times you’re just at the point of hijacking and they move just enough to screw you up, next thing you know, you’re a reject, harmlessly beating on a Scion.
Also, does anyone else find that hijacking an ice Scion is also pointless? I have never once had the cryo freeze anything while hijacked.

Cryo is useless… Zero effect…

I would only bother hijacking Mulchers, Claw Drones, Boomshots and maybe Salvo DR-1s if you’re looking for the highest damage output. Dropshot, Hammerbursts and both types of Grenadier can work, but may be less effective. Most other enemies aren’t worth bothering with due to far too low damage.

I think it absolutely sucks that the ice scion’s weapon has virtually zero effect… same for the trishot…

Either it’s a BUG (which I find unlikely since it’s a config issue which would have been fixed already if it was a bug), OR, more likely, an intentional nerf to, once again, micro manage players’ ability to inflict damage on a per weapon/per enemy basis…

But I don’t get it - I think there are as many salvo DR1s in the game as trishot DR1s, why does one work fine and the other is ridicolously underpowered?? A bullet from a mulcher scion does about 600 damage, a bullet from a trishot DR1 does about 100 damage… WTF…

The only thing I can imagine is, well, there are a lot more oppressors than mulcher scions, so TC is thinking “well, we can’t let them have access to lots of powerful weapons, no, no, no, so we will silently nerf all those weapons, and completely ignore any comments/complaints about them, so that way we aren’t really “lying” to our players”

Trishot only does a 3rd of the damage it does normally when you hijack an Oppressor for some dumb reason. The HB, Claw and Mulcher get to enjoy triple damage which makes Mulchers stupid strong.
