When I was running with a couple of different groups at the beginning of season 8 and everyone was going for Seriously 5.0.2 there were lots of 50 wave horde matches where people would friend request the people in the lobby for the extra Ally XP.

My problem is I never played with these people.
Some don’t even play gears 5 :woman_shrugging:t2:

I make it so only friends can send messages or invites, Privacy settings here: It kept happening to me. For my part, it was the bot accounts that send Sexually suggestive messages, like the ones on instagram.

This happens to me a lot, but on Switch. Not so much on my Xbox.

It’s not that strange in this culture of social media. The thing people do now is follow like and subscribe. Not all your followers are in personal contact. No big deal.
If they’ve crossed your path
maybe they like your game play, hope you upload some clips or other games you might ply.
Maybe they want to compare their stats.
Maybe they want to fk idk but I wouldn’t think much of it. You don’t have to reply and you can block if necessary. GL

I just think you are cool along with anyone else from these forums. I usually get a request cause people want extra exp from me through the ally system although I have met one person who sends a friend request to everyone in their recent player list. if you join a lobby then leave you still appear on the recents list. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been invited by random people to a game I don’t even own. Like apex or cod.

I get random chat invites all the time and it is always from a brand new blank spam-bot account.
