Is the Coalition showing us early signs of EA syndrome? Or maybe the Coalition should go and get a job with apple. Why is it that this company that is making games for us the people not listening to our complaints and addressing them? Do they feel as though they are celebrities and we are simply fans?or is it that they think we are a bunch of stupid idiots that don’t know what’s best for ourselves? Because I’ve read numerous threads and post about a plethora of issues yet TC hasn’t responded to any of them. Yet I can guarantee that if their player base took a significant hit they would jump into these forums and start addressing us, and taking us more seriously. Somebody has a job to get on these forums and engage this community and that’s what they need to start doing. Their job.
The game is dead at this point and the majority of their focus is aimed at Gears 5.
And if you watch the dev stream they do actually talk about issues that are ongoing but they can’t do much about it without a full team
i dunno i think they would need to make a lot more bad decisions to upgrade to EA level

I spent $20 trying to get the black steel UIR when they released the greatest hits pack then they made her purchasable outright for like $2

Stop being so cheap and get a game pass for a month then to get the feel of gears 5. It’ll cost you less than 10 dollars

This game though I thank in a way it taught me a lot about what I did wrong in buying this kind of thing. I took it as a lesson never to buy random loot crates again and Ive stuck with it now in every game since I bought them in this.
I spent a lot trying to get Sam but in the end it wasn’t a temporary skin like they made it seem and other games have done this more now as well so it kind of saved me money from my realization of how bad it is. Everyone that spent on them should just use it as a wake up for the next game when you are enticed to buy these like for horde progression cards.
I will not be spending a penny/cent on gears 5 microtransactions, i hope many others do the same

Them dropping 2x XP permanently was the final nail in the coffin for this game. Once that happens, you know the devs have even given up on it.
paying 60 dollars at home there should not be microtransactions
Gears 4 was an experiment on how to make extra money. That’s why we have Loot Boxes, pretty much trying to figure out how to make Gears of War a profitable franchise. Hopefully with all the money they made from those Boxes they can incorporate a different scheme to generate them money.
Gears 4 wasn’t an experiment in loot boxes. Other games had them before. Every company has seen how profitable they are, so they add them in where they can.
Everyone complain and buy them.
Since they opened it. I see almost everyone (90%+) have those blacksteel in ranked game.
Its good for business. I dont see people protesting or not buying them.
I’m not complaining but I think skills should be obtainable with credits. They could have a catalog of skills that players can buy with the credits they earn. Skins are just cosmetics and characters is okay in loot boxes imo. I never bought any packs with my hard earned cash. Yes I bought the Full game and Season Pass but that is all. I just love the franchise in general and will play it just for fun.
You say they don’t update the game anymore but it seems like they’re still nerfing weapons, like the boltok and enforcer
