II am seriosuly wondering…how can i have done 0 damage in 3 close range shots.
Maybe i need to adjust my aim? i’ve even changed my FOV several times to see if it helps but it doesnt really
Happens often - 3 bullets in - damage says 1 or 2 only.
Point blanks will not register.
I have got a thread on it too:
1st and 3rd should have at least got some registration, 2nd appears to have missed. I think the thing that we really need to know is if the hit counter is a complete reflection of what the game registers. I posted a thread about this on the old forum when TC was answering questions and they would not touch it. I even bumped it at times when they were online actively answering questions and it was like they dodged it.
If that is a true reflection of what counts then it’s scary how broken the game is because I’ve put lancer and boltok into guys who were rushing heads-down and it often neglects to count shots. I didn’t expect kills in all those instances, but dumping half a lancer mag into someone who is straight-lining is definitely more than 2 hits. I have a clip where I emptied a HB into someone at close range while they were crouched behind cover, reloaded and put half another mag into him before he turned around and shot me and it said something like 2 hits. It was so ridiculous my friend uploaded to YT in his Gears montage.
I’m inclined to think the hit counter we see is not reflective of what the game counts because it would be way too faulty if that were true.
I agree, it can’t be reflective because I can magically get the same percentages time and time again.

Not to throw more fuel on this fire but remember little over a year ago something odd happened. Made a clip (forgot why, something felt wrong)
Anyway, had a 1v, which I lost, pretty laggy match too, forgot the exact numbers but said I did 90%, after the match I looked at the clip said I did only 60%. First and only time I’ve seen this happen. Tweeted Node about, baffled.
Anyway seems there has been a lot of issues with Xbox Live services lately, most likely why we are having a lot of inconsistencies with Gears. Always been “sensitive” especially with these servers.
