If the Low ping option is selected, it does not match at all.
And data centers coincide with the United States and Mexico, not Asia. So I always play games with 150 to 180 pings. Is this normal?

Unfortunately Microsoft allocates a small number of servers for Gears 5. They list 9 data centers worldwide for Gears 5, with 1 in East Asia.
The only suggestion I have is to cancel and restart matchmaking when the timer reaches 2 minutes.
