I only play TDM and I own 5 Xbox’s just so I can squad up with my kids on the weekends.Not only is it 4v4 now they put duos only and messed up our weekend gears night.PISSED Hate koth and gridiron.Love tdm and wingman

I feel bad for you, dont TC realise that playing in a group with friends/family is one of the main reasons why gears is great.
I hope they change it back and make other adjustments to the game mode, i think each player should have their own life pool, which i believe would enforce team work.

For wanting more of team experience taking out stacks doesn’t make sense to me even to help out with solo players getting matched before against stacks and not having any on their team just seems like easy way out to me and not a solution.
I do like the 4v4, it’s interesting still not used to not having teams of 5 but I like it from little ive played since they added tdm back, not fixed on the number. People should be able to play with their friends and family and whoever they want, seems quite limiting of an experience to me to limit to duos. Sucks not being able to sweat with friends lol or just play with friends.
Like @GuiltyCrisis said great thing about playing tdm is shorter games don’t have to invest as much time because you don’t always have that much time to play and its draining after playing few games of koth. Amazing how we got that many games in and we’re still energized but definitely isn’t the same feeling.

there needs to be a separate mode for stacks vs stacks and leave our new mode as is
amen to that, solo players have dealt with stacks long enough, go play mario party with your family… it’s a team because we’re on the same squad, not because we all personally know each other
makes no sense for stacks of five to play five solo players who aren’t even talking or can’t talk cos of language barriers
it also makes no sense to expect everyone to know someone with whom they can play gears
there needs to be a compromise and that doesn’t simply mean reverting to the old style

TC is being biased.
They want to support BLM & LGBT+ but won’t show love to the TDM community , which id think is more relevant… since this is the realm of gamers & not politics, but what do I know…
Thought I’d like duo death match but it’s more of a burden & im more frustrated begging randoms or resorting to chat & waste play time to chat why we should not push or pleading

This dude kept pushing because he got tired of gears & went to rocket league …
But TC wants to cater to these type of people who don’t appreciate Gears of War.
How can I rank up when it’s a game of Russian roulette when paired up with teammates …

Gears 6 wont be out for 2 more years atleast.
Just wait until next operation then, we need a full squad it’s impossible to keep winning with just 2 people communicating they’ve killed it unless they change it.

Gears 6 is going to be another beta test. With weapon tuning switching twice every month instead of once. Also Confirmed by G5s poor performance, it’s going to have 3 different weapon tunings at launch. One for Comp, one for Core, and one for quick. “PvE doesnt matter” seeing that Two different weapon tunings killed ranked overall and separated the community worse than segregation. It’s pretty obvious Halo will fail once more along with Gears or I’m just too old *1994

In combination with the current ranking system that only cares about winning and not about individual performance it‘s like playing Roulette. If you a get a team that plays together you win, if you get the guy doing 0:15 you lose and Booth without and chance to change anything. Not really the experience I want to have in a Ranked gametype.If you want to stick with single/duo at least favor performance instead of winning for getting GP.

Same boyyyy 1994. We know it’s gonna flop the only thing coalition are good at is remastering gears, hopefully they remaster gears 3, my favourite was gears 1 but they didn’t make ultimate edition with private lobby’s so they’ve killed another great game 
I still can’t get over the solo players in this thread supporting the duo cap.
Your a solo player playing a team based mode in a ranked lobby.
You are most likely not going too play as a team member. You cannot communicate in an effective enough manor too cross etc
Majority of you like it as you can charge around the map with the gnasher and not get crossed.
It’s called TEAM death match not SOLO death match.
FFA is for solo players.
Understand that.
TEAM death match is for teams.
Its even in the name. How can you defend the decision?

To solve this issue there’s no point waiting on TC to allow us to have a full squads, literally Xbox series x will be out by the time they get there finger out.
Everyone who plays TDM and wants to win, even if your with your friend just go in GAME CHAT, It’s the only way this will work if everyone in game chat then we can all communicate like a “team” everyone spread the word then hopefully it’ll be like old times when everyone was in game chat back on the 360. Party chats are killing tdm we all need to go in game chat have fun and win.

4v4 but allow full stacks. They shouldn’t limit the numbers in a squad for any mode. It is more important they adjust team size and/or weapon spawn times and/or respawn locations, than limiting how many people can be in a team, in a team game.
Personally I think 4v4 is the answer for TDM and Koth, maybe Guardian, maybe not. Exe, Gridiron, Dodge should all be 5v5. Basically the modes with lots/infinite respawns should have smaller teams.
