Unfortunately I play king when I want to play with more than 1 friend.
But I can only handle 2-3 games of that & im out. Even short king games are like 30 minutes when a TDM is 10-14 minutes.
Was amazed how in 1 hour me & @oxJINXEDxo played 5 games … actually felt energized too & not all drained like in king…
Exactly…Heres what i find funny people say tdm isnt “competitive” Ok well if thats the case why can we not have atlest 2 friends at a time? Its a joke even having to bring this up.

The problem is you can’t argue with them.
People stack to win. Yes of course, I don’t play ranked too lose, In fact even when I search solo I still want too win. When I’m chilling and playing casually I load up arcade.
Yeah but it takes more skill solo. No running about solo flex like a moron is not playing as a team in tdm. Also I want too play in a team of people I can depend on, communicate and coordinate attacks or tactics. Solo players generally are not in game chat so you can’t do that any of that in a team based mode playing competitively.
My proposal is minimum lobby of 2 players up too 4 on 4v4. Removes all the problems outlined more or less.
Solo players should only be playing team based modes if they actually want too play as a team or should stick to FFA

thoughts on TDM 2 min lobby?I just want to play as a stack again and enjoy playing with friends. Don’t enjoy koth or gridiron and have played TDM since the start.
Limiting to 2 in a party is the 2nd worst decision made in the history of decisions. The first was removing TDM in the first place. So many players I know have quit because of these two decisions.
I don’t know who TC listened to in making these decisions but it definitely was not the TDM community. Its tools on here that come and throw their 2 pence in after playing 1 or 2 games. TC have managed to keep digging their holes deeper and deeper by listening to the complete wrong audience of players. I’ve poured way too many hours into TDM for it to have the p*ss taken out of it like this.
Oh and to make matters worse the road to masters is a near on impossible achievement on the mode as its just pure luck what teammates your going to get every game.
And I know TDM is a campy mode but 4v4 seems to have made it 10x worse. Played a game on checkout before and the other team grabbed the sniper and didn’t move out of the spawn till the timer ran out… it ended with still around 10 lives left on each team as we for obvious reasons couldnt coordinate an attack.
Bring back 5v5 and bring back stacks or I’ll be leaving along with the 50+ TDM fans on my friends list that already have.

Back in 2006 was brutal with what everyone would say to each other. It’s why Gears is competitive to this day.

That being said, they should allow teams in a team game. Solo players have 1 of 2 choices.
start communicating. If you stay in a party to talk with friends instead of teammates you have no reason to complain about playing solo
make some friends. Theres plenty of people from here alone that look to squad up.
If you play solo you run the risk of too many things to happen
I don’t think everyone understands that the restriction is how TC IS trying to balance games.
If people that are not close in rank team up in a squad then the ranking system can’t build teams of equal skill to play a match against a bunch of different ranks. The old system learned that this was the way to build teams so it built all teams this way and that’s why bronze ranks kept getting mixed into higher ranks to make teams.
I can only assume that they used the same learning algorithm to figure out the best way to match teams together in the new ranking system.
I think they should take all of ranked to the ultimate step and restrict it to solo play only. I say this because your rank is your rank not your teams rank and the whole point of the ranked playlist is to play against players of similar skill. Not players that are way above your skill level because they teamed up with a noob to get easier opponents.
The restriction to two players per party is step in the right direction for ranked play. Not only because it helps balance teams but the ping times are easier to match up so ther are less laggy hiccups for everyone.
If you want to team up with 4 of your buddy’s or have a gears night with your kids this is exactly what quickplay is for.
Are you sh*tting me? The new ranked system doesn’t suit solo play unless your playing FFA. It also doesn’t matchmake on skill level its more focused on rank. Which is up or down two levels meaning when your in gold you could still be playing with or against bronze or diamond players.
I can back this up - player checkout and round 3 finished with both teams having 10 lives left.
I’ve never seen this before in tdm.
We couldn’t communicate so couldn’t move. Also our team mates were weak players so weren’t able to make any plays. It is complete luck who you get in your team and most of the time now I feel I end up getting the trash in my team.
I planned to be on gow late last night. After two games of tdm was enough for me to turn off.
I got masters last op for tdm and it’s just sad to see tdm being murdered. People on my FL don’t want to play this mode anymore.
Wouldn’t work buddy, the amount of people who finish work and want to play a few games before they go to bed and if no ones online then that’ll ruin their night, they should just keep it the way it was but 4v4.
Sorts everything out with duos only and solo’s their isn’t any logic behind it just seems lazy from TC.
Remove the max then as a minimum
Just have it so you can have 3 friends to join, I was looking forward to tdm coming back and 4v4 so it would be like gears 1 but they’ve just ruined with the lobby’s
