yeah @SPARGELKOHL I think Ill play Paduk further to see what happens. . it definetely sounds interesting and ill give a try and tell you how it goes my friend
her passive changed with OP4 Update while Venom Resi got nerfed and short-range didn’t deflect meele-dmg anymore, alot of cards work again (glitches included) so i guess it’s unintened (at least for some of the things that work again like Lizzie’s Barriers stunning…
Venom Res was allegedly never 50% and the skill description was just inaccurate, according to the PvE lead.
That’s weird because i noticed it alot while pushing claw or hammerburst drones when OP4 launched
There was apparently some resistance that Thrill always provided regardless of whether you had a bleeding enemy next to yourself or not. They fixed that at the start of Op 4. So it would be an explanation for the resistances that went missing, but it’s mostly felt in the melee area I feel.
Her passive changed at the start of OP4. And OP clearly didn’t have to deal with Juvies yet since VR barely has them. The Short Range Buff might change that but until then Lahni can’t deal with more than 1 Juvie without almost guaranteed going down.
^thats the thread where one of the PvE-devs responded regarding Lahnis nerf.
Message me back on Xbox
You’re absolutely right about Lahni and Juvies.
The Warren use to be easy as ■■■■ for Lahni and now the Juvies are a nightmare to deal with, it’s still doable but with a lot more dodging and support from the team.
I agree that having both the venom resistance nerf (which is absolutely real) and lack of melee defence has really diminished her ability to tank and honestly think TC went too far with those changes.
Edit: in addition I hate that Lahni, Mac, and Keegan all have such diminished rolls in Escape now due to being outclassed by Fahz, Kait, and Cole (or worse yet the 3 Claytons)
Is thrill even working? 2-3 sec is a long time so should i drop the card? Or is that just lag? Ive noticed claytons passive healing with heavy damage sometimes is very laggy
TC dropped the ball with Lahni in OP 4.
I hope in OP 5 They do her class right.
Yes, thrill is laggy, as are all health bonuses based on damage, this also applies to Marcus/Dom/Speaker in Arcade.
This has been a problem ever since Operation 4.
Lahni might have questionable use cases in Escaoe at times, but I just played her in Horde since the new passive ability, and holy cow is she a beast now!
Using her bleed melee perk + passive + a Breaker Mace, I could literally just wade into large groups of enemies annihilating them. It was very fun! Just be careful not to lose the Mace.
I think the passive was new as of operation 4.
Ive been trying to play Lahni in Horde. 50% of the time i get kicked at the lobby. Then im at the mercy of ping, Above about 100 and im missing my melees and catching the hits behind cover and forever DBNO. A good ping and yeah you can dominate. Its a shame.
I feel you there, unfortunately if you want to play Lahni in horde you either have to host your own game or join a friend with low ping
I remember one time when I was just looking for free level-ups, I joined a 4/5 Horde match at wave 42 and picked Lahni. They had a killer setup, no problem, probably didn’t even need a fifth person to finish with ease.
I still got kicked before I got to shoot anything or the next wave even started.
People in Horde really don’t like Lahni lol.
Yeah, I’m sure Lahni was the issue.
Not sure what your sarcasm was meant to imply.
I joined, ran to where they were set up, got kicked before the next wave started. I didn’t do anything yet.
Someone looking for free xp, aka doing nothing, usually goes hand in hand with kicking said player.
I wonder why they don’t like him. I have been Cole with Paduk and the other way around and as long as there is some communication, they can work well together (like Paduk executing a Drone so Cole can attack a Scion when Inner Fire isn’t up for instance.)
