I just thought of a novel gamedev idea, TC please listen

I had a slight brainstorm after playing a horde where my cards weren’t applied, and I think that this would be a neat idea for TC to emulate, and other developers also. How about before you put out an update for a game or application, you do a “test” beforehand? This “test” would be done internally before release and would serve to make sure that whatever crap you are sending out won’t break stuff for customers. My thought is that you have some employees inside play through whatever code you are poised to send out, and if those employees should happen to come across anything they feel would be out of place they would notify the coders and the coders in turn would fix the problems that had occurred. I know that this may seem like a crazy approach to development, but I still think it has its merits. What do other forum users think, and what does TC think? Is it the bee’s knees to send out unproven and untested updates, or does my radical idea for software development have some merit?
