I feel like any big name title that is being launched on gamepass should be assumed to have the entire xbox player base playing at release.
I understand that is a bit of a highball, but they need to stop letting this stuff happen.

CLEARLY, I’m not referring to the cost of your console and whatever other bells and whistles you purchased. You’ve obviously missed my ENTIRE point about paying more to play earlier. If I’m promised 4 days earlier then that’s what I want. If there was no additional cost, then I’d keep my mouth shut and “be patient” but that wasnt the case. No one goes out into the world and pays more for something additional and is OK when they dont get whatever it is they paid for. Not sure why you’re so ok with it, maybe you’re one of THEM disgused as a regular player or something like that. Probably. Whatever the case, I’m sure you are fully capable of understanding where myself and many others are coming from but you choose not to.

LoL… Ok… Yes, because you understand the innerworkings of what it takes for a game like this to have a launch that goes off with no issue… lol… Many people did not pay more for something, they actually paid less… And because there were a few hours where they couldn’t play the game… OMG end of the world… No… Again, $hit happens… Just be friggin patient and let it all calm down… It will be where it needs to be…

Never once did I say I understood what it takes and blah blah blah. As someone who doesnt work for TC and isnt being paid to be up there butts, I will speak the truth on the issues and be honest. If they really care about their players then they will humble out, take the criticisms and do better. You cant convince me otherwise. Have a good night.

I think the point is whether you pay $1 or $500 is irrelevant. Paying for something is paying for something. It doesn’t matter if you pay full price or a sale price… you’re still buying a product. And if the product doesn’t work it either A) should not have been release, or B) customers should be compensated for their troubles. That’s how literally every other industry works. Yet game developers are supposedly to be given a free pass because “their job is hard”? No. It’s their job. Period. If they are too inept to do it, that’s not my fault as a paying customer. Period.

Your logic is flawed. Some people paid $60 to play now. Some people paid $80. Some people payed over $300. And yes some people paid $1. Who cares. We are all in the same boat with this busted POS game. So no… what you say isn’t correct.
And your comparison of buying a car for $1 is completely absurd. Not even close to a relevant comparison. Obviously that scenario isn’t anything close to this.
Here… I’ll give you a better example of why what you pay doesn’t matter. Let’s say you are at home eating. Fridge full of food. Full pantry. And you’re stuffed. You go to your friends house. His mom just made dinner. They make you a plate. You take a couple bites and decide you’re full and you walk to the trash and scrape your plate. But this friends mom is a single mom with 4 kids working 2 jobs just to pay bills. The food you just threw out is completely insane to them. They save everything. Food to them is like gold.
It’s all about perspective. Maybe buying something doesn’t mean anything to you… but to people who work hard for the money, they take pride in earning it and they make damn sure what they spend it on is worthwhile. They don’t waste money on food, products or people hat won’t respect it. That’s how well off people get well off. You think they just throw money away and say oh well… it’s just $1? No. They don’t. Because every $ counts. That’s the whole point. You are completely missing the point.

I have worked my entire life building myself up from being poor and homeless growing up outside of Detroit to now living outside of Oklahoma City, with a great job, wife and kid, very nice vehicles and a very nice house. Wrong, I said the cost is irrelevant to the product quality. Especially when cost is relative to the purchaser as in sale prices versus different editions of the product. Someone paying $500 matters not to the guy that paid $1. It’s the same product that doesn’t work. The guy that paid $500 has no more right to be angry, and the guy that paid $1 has no less right to be angry. It’s still a faulty product.

Gears is 1 days old. Every online game struggles, its impossible to have the exact amount of servers needed as no one really knows exactly how many connections they will get.

I can understand the frustration in wanting to play online or even coop campaign with friends, me myself was having issues playing with my brother take in fact this is now on game pass and how ninja streamed the game with his contract there is plenty of more people who are going to find interest in wanting to try the game out, this game is crossplay so of course there will be a lot of issues on day 1, yeah they had two tech test but also remember this game is so easy to play right now so obviously there is gonna be a increase of players maybe even more from what they’ve seen since the two test they ran, just be patient and it will end up running smoothly later on.
Thousands of people trying to access the game at roughly the same time and he needs to be replaced?
