How to use Kait in horde

Ok, this is going to be a stupid question, but is there a gib range in horde? I.e. wave 48, Master, i shoot a drone elite point blank and he explosed from the one shot?

I have yet to have that happen, unless it is already damaged somewhat. That’s with nothing lower than a level 5 card.

It definitely is. I’ve been insta killed by Elite Grenadiers a million times within gib range, lol. Plus, notice if you shot an enemy within a longer range they’ll receive way less damage, but if you purposefully let a Elite Grenadier get very close to you you’ll gib them (yeah, I’ve let them get within 2m of me to see if i will insta kill them). This is with Kait because she generates the bleed.

■■■■ that sounds familiar lol

High DPS can recharge ■■■■ in seconds for anybody that didn’t know. Like Clayton can destroy the swarmak fight on the Gatekeepers if you got most of the shots to hit you.

Thanks man,

I’m sure he knows . But to add to this is why this was made. Clayton-ReGeared OP4 (Adv. Horde Tips/Guide) by Hu1k Daddy

So doing damage reduces cool down? I allways assumed it was purely time related. But u r saying that dmg reduces it?

What else effects it apart from perks, points? Revives? Has this been confirmed anywhere. thanks would be rlly good to know

As far as I know you can get ult cooldown through the following ways :

Passive abilities
Keegan’s Recharge Bounty skill
(Venom ult cooldown skills on kill in venom for Escape)
Damage dealing on enemies
Ult cooldown/damage feedback cooldown perks

Revives have no effect to my knowledge. Otherwise Jacks would be getting their ults back in no time.

  • clayton recharge for team ult

Yeah, forgot about that one.

Oh, and executions recharge with Marcus or Paduk.

Good stuff

This falls under passive abilities which you already mentioned, but JACK and Keegan by default have passive abilities where if they spot an enemy which is killed then it quickens. Also some of the tank characters get a passive recharge buff for damage taken.

I just grouped that up under “Passive abilities”, assuming people would know or easily find which those are.

Yup…

Thats why JD drops artillery on a swarmak, shoots a few GL rounds at it, drops artillery again, shoots a few gl rounds, drops artillery again… You get the idea

As far as I know, Kait is the only character that has no cards/no passive for speeding up her ultimate cooldown outside of just doing a lot of damage.

I don’t have Grace/Sarah Connor, so someone else will have to confirm if those two have ways to reduce their respective ult cooldowns.

Jack doesn’t have an ultimate cooldown card either, but his passive works towards his cooldown.

Connor has a shotgun cooldown reduction skill afaik. Don’t think Grace has any such means but I don’t own the character either, so can’t say for sure.

I run expanded Stim capacity over extra Overkill ammo

She’s tanky as ■■■■ with Reaper, Enhanced Stim, and expanded Stim Capacity.

I’ve found that due to the High Shotgun damage she doesn’t really need the extra ammo.

I used to run her stim capacity, but I never felt truly satisfied with it, as with Kait I’m not typically executing anyway, mostly blasting away with a shotgun, namely the overkill, so I like to carry a little extra ammo if I can. I just don’t feel like it makes her quite tanky enough, but I can see why you like it.

She has a card where cooldown reduced from close ranged attacks or damage taken.

I just did my first every Masters horde 1-50 (subtle proud brag) and I was getting my ultimate every wave most of the time because of how much damage I was getting from killing stuff. I was with a really good team of Del, Lizzie, Clayton and Jack, on District. One of my favourite things to do is pump some energy into her movement perks so that if you are running cloak batts and chain, you can tear around the map and wipe out 20 or so drones and juvies. It feels highly satisfying especially on a boss wave. You just have to be careful you don’t get in the way of their shots because you’ll still get downed.

Really pleased I got my first Masters done, and it wasn’t all that hard. It just requires people with 5-6 level cards, communicating and doing your bit to get the energy into the fab for the first 20-25 waves.
