How does Venom actually work?

Ever since I started playing Escape many months ago I’ve always wondered exactly how the venom works. What exactly is it? How does it kill Swarmies? That sort of thing.

I’ve read the comics and I don’t believe they ever gave me enough insight into it.

Tried searching for it but couldn’t find any threads relevant, if so let me know.

My hypothesis (for fun): venom is injected whereas poison is typically inhaled, this implies there has to be some way that the venom is injected into Swarmies. I think the venom “bomb” is filled with nanomachines that are programmed to seek out nearby organic lifeforms and inject them with this venom, because there is likely a limit to how many of these little guys are in each bomb it can only realistically kill off a set number of Swarm in each hive, otherwise it would just end up killing all of humanity because these things would just keep killing off all of Sera

I think this is answered in the Hive Busters comics. From what I remember Venom is an acid that spreads through the hive that litterally burns everything in its path. Its not some weapon designed to only target the Swarm but a weapon designed to target everything in its path. Ill have another look but im pretty sure its just an acid based weapon.

They describe it as a gas of some kind that kills swarm, didn’t see any mention of it being acid anywhere. It’s released close to hive mind of Swarm because Hana (person who invented it) thinks that if you kill hive mind it’ll kill all the surrounding Swarmies as well (probably won’t work out so well lol)

Yeah im not a 100% on the Venom itself just what I could recall from the hive buster comic where they went into detail about what Scorpio squad were detonating in the hives.
