How do I pick up ammo drops by teammates

I cant figure out how to pick up ammo boxes dropped by my teammates please help

On the other hand check your controller layout in setting as you may have revamped some buttons without knowing.

You hold down X, if that’s what you mean. But if you have remapped button controls some configurations break certain actions. Just played thru the Hivebuster DLC and found out all the new ultimate abilities are not mapped correctly because of it, as well as some button prompts being labeled wrong.
