they seem to be making a hivebuster’s DLC, and Hoffman is the leader of the HB program. So his VA is probably putting in work.

No what we need is old man Hoffman in his wheelchair but its like a hovercraft that flys around and shoots rockets

I mean his voice actor is 71 and had a heart transplant in 2017. I’d like it if Hoffman came back but…I don’t see it happening with his V.O. actor’s age.

I guess that’s why we didn’t really get to see Hoffman in this game. Of course, they can always use some old dialogue of his. I know they’ve done that with some characters. Queen Myrrah doesn’t have all of the dialogue expressions and COG Gear is missing some if I remember correctly.
They could do what they did with Oscar and use a different voice actor but that would get a ton of heat.
There is plenty of pre recorded dialogue to still make him a relevant player. Just no new content.
It’s funny to see so many people swerving over Dom.like he hasnt been the character with the best personal storyline in this game to date.

Love this idea! As a disabled person this would probably end up being my favourite character, plus we need a token disabled character for diversity

Assumption based on what? That one cutscene in the background of some random vid?
In new cog gear armour, custom emotes with new voice lines as escape rewards indicating the va’s are recording lines while no one else is getting new custom emotes.
Those custom voice lines have been there since launch or near launch though. And they’re not the only ones to get these. They were just recycled as rewards later on again, since apparently players wanted to see those leaderboard rewards brought back.
If you were aware of this already, just ignore the post.
Yeah they would be cool. I think Anya, Dom, and Aaron Grifin would be great too

I think Dom would be best… Delta squad should come first. Then trickle in the rest. Dizzy would be nice also.

I prefer Dom over Hoffman, but I do like the Hammer of Dawn Ult and the work you put into the doc, all makes sense. I mean we had it in Gears 4 Horde (I was usually Sniper using Snipe Strike though) so it’s only a matter of time, especially since it was in the campaign like you said.

Hoffmans horde skill can be his wheel chair. He summons it and rolls around the battle field with 2 retros strapped to each side, wheeling and shooting.

during this time I think hoffmen is very old and is in a wheelchair in the comics during this time but I could be wrong 
I wouldn’t mind a character in a wheel chair though…maybe he can go into a hover helicopter mode or something and be a support character

Very good ideas for skill cards, had the same idea with the hammer of dawn ulti.
We need an own thread for character ideas with skill cards and abilities.
I love seeing people think about it.
Little idea from me: hope we can play as Kait, JD, Fahz, Del ( not sure about Jack) in escape in the future.
