Have they released any new details on the hivebusters dlc. They said early Dec like Dec 15th if not then then on the 22nd (which isn’t early Dec). My money would be on 22nd to help boost the game for the holiday weekend when most people are off and will have a chance to sit down and play it.

We will probably get a trailer the day of release 
I don’t know if its TC or Microsoft but it feels like all of xboxes first party games don’t get info or gameplay until its practicality out.
Thats my one gripe with xbox is they need a better marketing team. Their online press shows leading up to series x/s were terribly underwhelming

Yeah that seems most likely when it comes to Gears news it seems like they only advertise a week at most before they launch anything. Honestly I don’t need a trailer or anything special just a release date I’ve wanted this to happen since I read the comic. Soon as I finished reading it my first thought was why the hell didn’t they make this into a dlc campaign cause it would be freakin awesome to have played through this.

IMHO they should Hype the Hivebuster DLC a little more.
I mean , every time a silly Destiny DLC comes , Bungie goes full advertisement , they smash our ears with that light thing , defenders of the faith ETC. ETC. and Destiny ain’t nothing but a money farm.
The less people knows about this DLC the less is going to buy it.
They should make sure that the whole Gears community at very least heard about this DLC before dropping it , it’s too in the shadows at the moment.
Difference is destiny is a huge franchise that pulls in 100s of millions every time they release an expansion.
In 2019 alone they made 300 million just on micro transactions (not including dlc/expansions), so for a developer like them, it hurts them when they don’t drop some crazy new trailer to show off the new content.
Comparing gears to destiny is 2 totally different beasts.
Also, gears seems to have fallen off when it comes to their marketing of new content… they make a new operation trailer that shows off the new stuff, but it’s usually just the one trailer and that’s it.

Look , I don’t mean to be rude.
There’s a lot of thing I don’t like about Gears 5 , mostly in the minds of the developers (should I say Producers?)
But Destiny 2 …
Now , that’s something worse and less honest than Gears 5.
The ultimate money-grabber.
Despite all odds , I still find Gears 5 to be a superior game to Destiny. Not bigger , yet superior.

It might be “free” with Gamepass so there might be no point in advertising it when no one’s gonna buy it.

For all it’s faults I agree. Still rather play Gears over Destiny.
Yeah it’s included in the game pass list so that’s most likely the case they won’t charge extra for it so why waste the money marketing it. On the flip side though Destiny is also on game pass so it’s weird one does and the other doesn’t.
Gears is Microsoft property, Destiny is Activision.
No point in hyping up something that won’t meet expectations.
Seriously, if they just give an awesome nod to Tai I’ll be happy, if they do anything in regards to enemies/weapons (adding more is basically what I’m saying) or they give it a significant context it’ll blow my little Bluejay mind 
Temper expectations is all I’m saying, it could just be an Escape 1.5 for all we know.
I’m worried - well, not worried but pessimistic- that it’ll just be a repeat of the comic story arc, which I finally got to finish with Issue 5 the other day. It’s an okay read, I suppose, and I’d still play it… but I’m not expecting anything more than a repeat.
It could also be a continuation of the characters and their story (there’s supposed to be another arc, and the comic obviously has a “So what are we doing tomorrow?” type of situation at the end), but again I’m a glass half empty type of person when it comes to games.
According to some article on it, it’s gonna be around 3 to 4 hours.
hold up it’s bungie property not Activision at first it was just a contract and now bungie are solo on destiny
I doubt that’s how the system works. Even if (besides your Game Pass subscription) downloading is for free, if Microsoft notices that nobody’s downloading the DLC it is going to have some real consequences for TC.
Advertising is essential for this game. Remember them bragging about how many people played the game in the beginning? It’s nowhere near that now and the longer you wait the fewer people will be interested to keep on playing the game. They need to do all they can to advertise this game. In a way, it’s fascinating how poorly marketing is for Gears 5. Got new content with new modes and characters coming up? See the one-minute trailer on the day of release, aimed at the people that still play the game!

Like I said, Gears is Microsoft and Halo Mcc DLC is also free with Gamepass.
Well look at it this way, why would they create different appearances for the characters if they were not going to continue their story arc?
Is that mean few weeks later we will learn about what happened with Mac’s face!? 
Just putting it here there is bug if you go in campaign perso filter you can see act 1 chap 1 to 6 for hive buster
