I was playing the Hivebusters campaign as Keegan and on the fifth mission, “The Hunt”, my game would freeze on me when I would activate his ultimate ability. I was still able to access the Xbox home and go to the dashboard, so I quit Gears 5 as that was the only thing that seemed to fix the issue. This has happened a few times now…it seems as if triggering Keegan’s ultimate ability on this mission freezes the game at times. Has anyone else experienced this problem or any crashing/freezing problems with the Hivebusters DLC? The other missions seemed to be fine, and I didn’t have problems with the other characters. For reference, I’m playing on an Xbox Series X.
Hey, same here. Plus when its running then i get kicked from the Server. My friends have the same problems.

Not on Hivebusters DLC but the rest of game modes I experienced similar issues, alongside fps drops since September 2019 when the game was launched.
So this is happening because everybody is downloading the hivebuster DLC at the same time, Gears 5 can’t handle stuff like that, so it does what it does.
They did something with the game yesterday my GPU was running at 99% with only 90fps at ultra setup when normally it runs at 50% with 144fps. Maybe thats why you have troubles. Do you know how to create a log or something that I can send to TC ?
