I know she was alive during that part I only say it because knowing Bernie from the books I doubt she would write something like that if she didnt think she was gonna die. Also from the book you know she would never leave Hoffmans side as she stated it and her not being present at the ceremony in the beginning o f Gears 4 its another big sign

We do, issue 5 is bound to release… well, at some point. I do not know its release date or if there is a preliminary date for it that could still change. (Minor spoiler ahead)I don’t like the way they left us hanging with the Warden cliffhanger, though.

Really let down. It was ok but all they did was confirm the obvious backstory of a character.
So anyone else read the final comic ? Bit of a let down for me overall. I certainly preferred the RAAM one.

Yea ending was a little underwhelming, I thought mac was gonna die, but overall I liked it. Good to know that Killing the hive doesn’t kill all the stragglers, that’s a little overkill for fighting off the swarm in my opinion. I still feel like they deserve their own game, or at least a mini campaign in DLC.

Rise of Raam was definitly better.
I felt Hivebusters was leading up to a big ending but like you said a bit of a let down. I wish TC would bring back Karen Travis or Josh Ortega for extended universe stories. They both did an amazing job.

I bet if they could have it there way they would let Karen travis write all the stories, she was the one that said she was done with gears. I think she had her fill of sci fi, she also had some halo, and star wars books
Some people believe we will after a leak in some video about Gears 5s accessibility features showing the Hivebusters in more modern COG armor rather than their, well, Hivebuster armor. But I didn’t buy into it as a certainty and will only take it for granted if we are provided official written or communicated proof in a news post/dev stream.
It would help explain why the PvP content is lacking in these updates. They could be devoting a lot of resources to other DLC, but I know that’s wishful thinking.

She did an amazing job with all the books and Gears 3. This new dude is just ok. Im not a huge fan of his writing style but I will continue to read them because they are Gears books.
The Hivebusters series was ok. It was building to a good ending then just didnt deliver. I dunno if the constant delays for EVERY single issue or the fact that it was only 5 issues.

Not gonna lie I havent read much of our stuff but I have read 2 or 3 things and have enjoyed them
