I know many like that and they are really good at teamwork. There are times when I can’t use a mic. Some people I’ve played with for years and have never heard their voice.
A mic isn’t always needed. It helps, but some people aren’t into using one for whatever reason.

Look man, if you wan’t to solo/duo horde, that’s fine. I agree, I have memories of doing that from gears 3 man, and it was great.
You CAN already do that in this horde mode, but just not on master, or inconceivable without great effort.
Try setting up advanced/elite and solo/duoing it, and work your way up as a self-challenge maybe?
I’ve done incon solo with health mod off with del, kait, jd, and CoG gear.
It’s a lot of fun. Try it, the experience you want is already a part of the game.

What is everyone’s opinion on characters not being able to buy certain weapons from the Fabricator?
Having to ask another player to buy a weapon for you is just weird to me. Shouldn’t have to do that.
But also, if you run into a player with no Mic, then what?
I’m trying to understand why everyone can’t buy a Boltok, or Hammer burst, for example.

For me playing GOW its like playing Chess, I’m not interested at all at communicating or chatting about anything . its about playing the game and period. If I wanna chat about the game in particular that’s why I use forums or the phone or anything. but not within the game itself.
Everyone should be allow to buy any weapons they like from the fabricator…
I expose this topic to @N0DEZER0 Ryan Cleven and told me that the loadouts on the fabricator were not complete and they would consider adding the whole loadout on the fabricator so everyone should be allowed to buy any weapon they like.

See I’m the opposite. I love using a mic, with friends and people I know.
But there are times when I jump on public just to kill time and play a few rounds and don’t even bother plugging my mic in…
I know some have anxiety and talking to people they don’t know online is hard for them so they don’t do it (not saying you).

My guess is that they don’t want everyone having boomshots and GLs.
Do you mean from around 500 to 1,000?!

I’m trti g to remember if I heard them mention this but it’s definitely a oversight.
Especially with the few enemy variety which leads to some weapons not being dropped at all.

I agree with @T0NY_HAYABUSA here on this point we really need that classic Horde option , and play the game as it’s meant to be… not that FORTNITE rubbish that they fed us that time.

I had a conversation with Ryan Cleven that time and told me that they will work on it and implement such option . however time has passed and I have seen any progress on that idea at all.
That’s me, but text chat gets around that ok.

not a fan. Id like to choose load-out options. Can even keep them class-specific and just give us a few options.
OR Maybe make there be an option in the fabricator to buy weapons of another class and they just cost you more ?
Id prefer if they just opened up all weapons to everyone from the fabricator.
Annoying to have to ask for a retro from a Kait seen as there are no enemies that spawn with them.
Possibly an increase in enemy variety might solve the issues? as more enemies means more weapon drops?

They mentioned it. I believe they are working in it along with a shorter Horde run, but I’m not 100% sure on a classic version of Horde.

They mentioned it forever ago in the dev thread that they wanted to do a classic gears 2 version as an event to see how people liked it. Haven’t heard anything about it since, though.
