Hi TC this is the Horde Community speaking

If this is going to be the go to place we want the devs to go should someone make a Google doc or something with all suggestions in and stick in in the OP ?
Might make it easier as someone said they might not read it all?

Exactly. That is a fantastic idea.

bad move from TC, we don’t need KEEGAN ( BLACK COLONEL SANDERS) to babysit nobody.

thats where they f***ed up the game. these genius ideas. now they have to do DOUBLE THE WORK , to make it right .

I’ve basically been adding most of the ideas to my bullet list. Also posted it in a message to ryan/updating it there.

Please add more ideas/suggestions guys.

@BChaps Sorry man to tag you, hope that you’re not busy. You were a great guide in Gears 4. Do you have something to add here?
@Hu1k_Daddy Sorry bud, I trust my message finds you well, I know that you’re extremely busy, but if you have the time for some input, the community would really appreciate it.
@foosniper We would like to hear your input regarding this incompetent Horde.

Cheers,

Cover mounted sentries
Some way to make the maps more dynamic. Maybe 1 perma wall that can be placed at the start of a game

Do you mean turrets or just sentries with cover that can be used?

Both, sentries that go onto cover and sentries that can be used as cover

Interesting… something like the shields from GoW3 then?

Oh, I see, being able to put sentries on cover leanout locations. Hmm might be kind of op

Sentries as they are - they function on a risk/reward basis. Find a safe location for them, to keep them safe, and conserve your investment, or place them as extra cover- and risk their destruction.

Idk, I don’t think they would add this, but its a cool idea.

What about a fortification that’s basically a shield like the ones from Gears 3?

Never played gears 3 horde

The way you talk, the lobby browser is never going to be fixed so I’m just spitballing some cool ideas now, no need to dissect them.

Why do you say that? I put that in my bullet list. They should try to fix it, I think it’s a major issue.

In my message to ryan it was a single reply on it’s own with a lot of points as to why it’s an important thing to resolve, I just don’t know if they “can” or not.

-whoops I didn’t add it, added it now.

A fortification that heals in an area - it maybe locks onto players like jack whilst in a certain radius
Let Jack attach salvos and trishots to himself in place of him being able to pick up weapons. So he can forge the first half of the game and shoot the other half

I have mentioned the idea a couple of times in various threads, but never received any feedback or responses to it…

Adding a Claw damage or recoil reduction skill for Lizzie(I would prefer damage as I find its recoil fairly manageable regardless) is something I’d find nice since the weapon goes well with her Stim and Cold Finish. But not sure on its balancing effects, if ever introduced. Hence why I’d want some input from others.

Yeah would be cool. Claw is often my go to with Lizzie so would be nice

Seem’s a bit op imo. She IS a Tank, after all, but maybe a future character should indeed have claw-specific cards, since it’s the go-to reliable all-purpose automatic…

Once the taps hit level 4, enable them to upgrade twice more (for example) so that they have small sentries on each side of them

Make it so Kait collects 25% more from taps

That’s cool.
Didn’t think about upgradable taps
Possibly once a tap is maxed you could get a slight buff while standing in the area?
Maybe you could choose more energy, damage, stim and upgrade it like we do perks?

Risk reward of staying out by a tap all wave then

Each tap that you hold gives you more power from every tap

I’m going to say that there should be no change to taps. I like the ideas, but the purpose of taps is to incentivize base expansion, so people don’t sit in the dead ends… like they do now haha/

The best horde games are where you make bases that take over half or more of the map. You can usually get half or more of the taps in those types of bases.

Maybe the best/only change they should make to taps is the ability to pick which spot they go down at.

like for instance, let all the potential spots light up each 11th wave- and the one you capture is where it goes?
