Yeah the game is great, and I’ve been having a great time. Having played since 1, I can say that I enjoy this gears as much as any of the first 3 in the series.
of course anything can be better over time but this shouldnt be an excuse especially for a professional studio backed by a big publisher. they have had plenty of time to master the formula just to toss it aside and add gameplay designs that hinders the experience. they tried to fix what wasnt broken in the first place, the kick in the nuts is the egregious macrotransaction store. its funny how that functions perfectly. demand more from your games, stop lowering the bar because you give em an inch and they will take a mile.

Most negative comments either forgot how bad the launch, lag or weapon balance was in previous games or are just trolling. I’m having a blast with this game the lag is nonexistent or bearable when it happens compared to previous gears but could it be better of course I won’t deny that. The one big issue I do have with is the horrendously overpriced micro transactions, this is a $60 dollar game not a free to play come on lets be real TC. I purchased the $60 launch week iron special you have and the Ultimate Edition as a sign of good faith considering you will make maps and characters free for everyone but seriously get real with those prices.
