These sort of kills to me feel like centre screen shots when i thought gears 5 was meant to be in line barrel shooting?

The wrap shots contradict what TC say which is puzzling yet consistent lol

I get both server disconnect and packet loss on a WIRED connection using 10 meter wired connection on virgin fibre 500 with a 500 down and 40 up and 13 ping with 0 yes 0% packet loss tested via xbox test and speedtest.net and also i might add that i get 0% on modern warfare too. #suspect #netcode :joy:

Hello Sera,

Do you have any updates after 2 and a half months?
You know this a hot topic in Gears 5, even if TC adds 20 maps and 30 characters the game will still be unplayable and people wonā€™t come back.
Even free to play games made by small developers have better netcode, so please tell us you have a real fix, donā€™t give us more excuses :frowning:

Xquiel CL, ep, youā€™re right. Some game dev projects require dev process of a whole team, who will care about gameplay features, based on game art specific details. When Iā€™ve had such problems with game development process, while we were developing itā€™s web versions, weā€™ve tried almost everything, and in our case the only thing that helped was ordering some solutions from outsource studio called iLogos. They helped with some UI/UX things, art design and additional gameplay features.

I hope everything is ok in TC headquarters.
Any update on netcode?
Yesterday my team and I had a terrible lag and netcode experience that made us wonder why weā€™re still playing gears.
4 months is plenty of time to give us answers, please.

I slide to the side of my opponent, he shoots where I was, I die. Both players on 20 ping. Itā€™s demotivating to learn movement to be killed anyway,

At OP not sure, but what is totally happening is that the connection is awful almost every other match or worse and why when Iā€™m playing Ranked in the evening in the UK am I getting several members in the lobby with pings of 150+.
Is the population so small in the UK and Europe tragic if that is the case.
Obviously next month it should swell, but not too sure if that is a positive.

I feel like I experienced this quite a bit today.

Shockingly the ones doing it to me were 110+ ping.

I had a sense that worked for the past 2 months and now this week it donā€™t work. Why cant this game be a consistent experience?
